I'm going to compare this Posca marker to their Uni Posca marker fine liner (with a bullet tip) to this product (the "pin type", as the barrel states), simply because I want a point of reference.First of all, both markers are 0.7mm tips. Both products also weigh the same; which makes it likely that both have the same amount of ink in them, although I cannot state that for sure - neither product state how many milliliter of ink there is in each pen. Now, at this point you might ask, quite justifiably, "why bother buying both, if one can suffice?". And you'd be partially right with your assumption; however, why bother selling two different products if they're so seemingly the same? The answer lies in the two key differences between the pens: the type of tip,and the form of their barrel. Now, despite the aforementioned similarity in millimeters regarding the tip, the type of tip does have an impact on line width, and by comparison the "pin tip" is much better at creating thin lines. Although the bullet tip is not bad for small work by any means, this product does make it noticeably easier to manage. However, bigger areas are a little harder to manage, or at least a little more frustrating, whereas the bullet tip makes it a bit less so. Manageability is really the key difference; if you have a smaller sketch book (like in an A5 or A6 size), or just simply like finer details in white, I would say go with this product. The other difference, the size of the barrel, is the one people might be more interested in.The bullet tip marker has a noticeably chunkier barrel; the size of a Letraset/Winsor&Newton promarker, maybe a little thinner, whereas this product has a longer, thinner barrel about the circumference of a pencil (maybe a little bigger). People who have limited space in their pencil case, or just prefer thinner barrels, will appreciate this marker a bit more than the bullet tip one.Overall, this pen is solid. It is good for fine work, it has a nice barrel, and it is a good value for money. Also, as a quick tip, the ink will most likely not immediately flow out when it arrives - you need to press the tip down on a surface a few times to pump the ink out. In case it appears to have dried out, try pumping a few times; if that still doesn't do the trick, try leaving it on it's head (the tip pointing towards the ground) overnight, so that you get more longevity out of it.Bye!

I'm absolutely delighted with this pen (and I bought the 3M size too) I have been using it to draw on stones, rocks and pieces of slate and wow I've produced some lovely art. I wasn't sure if it was waterproof so I have left some of my artwork outdoors for a few days in the rain and sun and they look great still. The ink goes on and on and on ... I bought some more because I didn't want them to run out but I'm still using the same pen, it hasn't run out yet. This brand of paint pen is definitelt the BEST I've used. It dries quite quickly and although I wish there was a finer version, I'm not complaining because I feel I have found what is close to the perfect painting pen.A real bargain considering how much paint is loaded into it.You do have to shake it and stamp it a lot before it starts flowing.Great seller too, dispatched very quickly.

I got it to label some small metal hand tools where Sharpie ink just rubs off. So far, its perfect: no smudging or rubbing off. Seems to be unaffected by the odd bit of oil or grease. Also works well on shiny/slippery polyethylene film where Sharpies and other permanent markers don't always write well.Plus, it is really easy to write with. Somehow, the ink flow is just right. It doesn't gloop or blob, nor does the line get dry or patchy.I know these pens have a cult following. I'm starting to see why.

These are the first Posca's I've bought. I've been hearing great things about these on the Rock Decorating sites I belong to, so thought I'd try them. There are so many different tips to choose from! I knew I didn't want broad tips so had to choose between 1 or 3m. There was an offer on this set so I ordered them 'Blind'. They are very fine, Pin-Tips. Not like Felt-tips. I feel they wil be great for detailing and outlines. I think I may need a few 3m for colouring. Will start saving up!!!!

This is a great pen. I have used another well known brand before and the ink leaks after awhile, also after couple of months of not using it, the paint dried out. With Uni Posca pen, this has been almost 6 months and the pen is still working fine. I use the white paint pen to write on plastic surface mainly. If you made a mistake in writing, the ink can be easily scratched off.In summary,+The nib doesn't dry out easily+Doesn't leak/splatter when shaken compared to other brands

I used this in n gauge model railways for drawing tiny thin lines along the sides of coaches and locos instead of the waterslide transfers which would have cost me about 5 times the price of this pen. It was even easier to use (with a steel or plastic ruler) than the transfers would have bee. No runs, no splurts, just a consistent a very fine drawing line with a vibrant colour. Highly recommended especially to railway modellers.

I was looking for a thin fabric pen to put dots on linen. It's perfect, didn't bleed and easy to use - no need for messy fabric paint and tools. Very pleased and as expected, a very good 'Uni' pen.For reference - instructions for use are to be found on the pen barrel; pens of this type need the 'up & down' motion on the nib to open the flow - similar to those christmas metallic ink pens with metal barrel!!!

Great product, wanted a pen to mark up black / slate grey laminate worktop. Would have been a 5-star review if they had stated the not-so-obvious fact that you have to depress the nib quite hard a few times to break the seal before any ink flows. Was about to return it until they told me why. So let's ask the supplier to do the obvious and include a note about this.

not quite what I wanted . looking for a permanent white colour .. it rubs off and changes colour . I used it on aqwerty keyboard to identify some symbols . it chnaged to an orangey colour . several apllications later it is very clear, but it smudges.. so for what i wanted it isnt much good .. for a craft type pen, it flows easily , nice to hold.

I ordered the black marker expecting only one but actually received twelve! Great value for money. I've only dabbled so far but the pens work great - they produce fine, neat lines of solid colour. Fantastic for outline work and lettering. I will be ordering some in white and will check out the other colours and sizes too. Excellent product.

I had massive problems with getting this order put though, but I got refunds provided promptly via amazon. Just be aware that if placing an order for multiple pens, you may only get one.Decent enough product, hard to get off my glass board though. I had to use 100% acetone to get it off in the end as water just wouldnt cut it.

I bought a black corner microwave where the dials are at the bottom. I couldn't see the mark on the dial to line up with the minutes so I bought this pen to fill in the little groove. Worked perfectly and looks good too. I no longer have to squat down until I'm level with the dial to see what I'm doing. A boon in my book.

Highly recommend this pen... Have used Posca pens before, but never the fine lined ones...it is great for all kinds of art and crafts, I have been using it for journaling, pebble painting and also letter writing on dark paper, it has always flowed really well, no need to stop and shake it!Will definitely buy again.

These are great pens! Their colours are vivid, the ink flows well & the fine nib is ideal for detailed work. I had tried some Sipa pens before, because they were cheaper, but they have all stopped working even though they were hardly used. Though the Poscas are more costly, they're worth it.
