I already own a significant number of UA tops and found this medium sized one to be consistent in terms of fit, it’s a comfortable fit for my 40 inch chest. I like the half zippered style which fits over the head easily and, in my view, looks and feels better than a full length zip version although some might think it less practical.The material is smoother on the outside with the “fleecing” being more obvious inside. I wonder how the exterior will resist pilling as it is worn more. The stitching and seams are neat and look strong whilst the elasticated cuffs and collar are well designed. On my 5”8 frame the length is generous but it should also suit those that are nearer to 6 feet - there'sa good thick seam around the bottom to ensure the garment falls well.In use I’ve found this top to be warm but not too sweaty, it feels as though it “breathes”and the cut allows full freedom of movement. In terms of washing, a synthetic wash is fine and there’s no obviouscolour bleed from the black version even on first wash.Although I think this is a good quality/value top, to me, there’s something missing in the styling that is present with the other UA tops I own, this one doesn’t look terribly sporty or dynamic even in an understated way. The acid test I suppose is in this garments practicality and functionality - it’s fine in that respect and if you’re less concerned with style it could be ideal.

My 26yo son's a fan of UA; most of his workout gear is by this brand and it all washes and wears pretty well.This (non-fleecy on the outside) fleece got caught on one of my rings as I got it out of the plastic wrapping and already there's a slight pull to the fabric, which tbh, though it's probably made this way on purpose to wick away sweat and damp, looks and feels like (dreaded) 70s crimplene. But, it's a got a decent padding of fleece inside, a thin enough one that the top doesn't make you look bulky, and at the same time, it's warm enough to wear in the type of mild winter weather we're having. My son agrees that it will stop his body cooling too quickly post-workout and on his way to his car,but will also stop him from sweating excessively and keep him warm on the drive home.My son doesn't love the look, though, as the neck fastening makes this look like an older guy's item of clothing, or so he says. But, the sizing is spot on for a Medium, though the top feels a little short.Hubs, also a Medium, aged 55, thought that for an item of sportswear this looked rather smart and has offered to give it a home if my son doesn't want it.For the current price of thirty seven quid for the Medium black top, it's not the cheapest, but I think it'll be worth it in the end, as the quality, if not the look, is excellent.

I'm 180cm high, weigh 70kg and this medium fleece is the perfect size for me. It's currently a string deep black colour (although I've had problems with UA gear bleeding black colour quite badly in the past and have several charcoal grey hoodies). The material is pretty much what you expect from coldgear, it's woolly on the inside and it's smooth on the outside (perhaps too smooth it's almost got a sheen). The label states that it should be breathable if you wear during exercise, but I haven't tried that properly as I exercise indoors usually.It's a decent enough top, with a zip at neck - I'll update if the colour fades as badly as my previous black UA tops.

Under Armour is a must for my golf gear. I play at a course which quite literally can experience every kind of Scottish weather in one day! I love having layers I can adapt to the weather conditions.This top is a men’s medium but I didn’t stop that from me wearing it!A really cosy layer which is wind resistant.I have laundered and line dried - the top has kept it’s shape with no loss of shape or shrinkage.I’ve had a few Under Armour clothes as I lead quite an outside life and rate them.Highly recommended product.

I'm not totally convinced that fleece is the best word to describe this material. It's kind of furry on the inside and kind of shiny on the outside. Don't get me wrong, when I say shiny it's not an unattractive finish on the outside, it's very smart, and I think it's likely to stay smart longer than garments that I think you'd be correct to describe as fleeces.The stitching seems faultless, and it looks really smart - especially for a fleece. It's good for wearing in colder weather as it keeps you pretty warm.

I have a shed load of UA stuff and what I will say is that they have by and large been consistently great.This is no exception. Being cold gear its designed to keep you warm not cool you down and the fleece liing is just right.The black is superb with subtle UA logo and the fit is bang on. Great bit of kit

Bought this as a layer as the days get colder.It allows freedom of movement for over-arm sports and is comfortable around the neck.Still short enough to allow me to put my tennis balls in my pocketsWinner all round - shame I'm struggling to find the other colours.

I like the quality of inside fleece, which doesn't dissolved and the outside that is slippery somehow and doesn't keep dirt on it. There isn't cons for this quality product for me. I'm very pleased choosing this label.

Bought one of these tops a few months ago and absolutely loved it. So much so that I've had to order another in a different colour. It's very well made and quite durable. Extremely comfortable and highly recommended.

I find myself going for under armour more and more often, this is a classic 1/2 zip top, simple design but so comfortable,really warm too, i now have a couple in my collection
