I bought this for my husband, who just recently purchased a new North Face waterproof outer shell that is charcoal with "Bomber Blue" trim. When I saw this fleece came in a 2XL in Bomber Blue I bought it for him, and he is thrilled with it. He has already worn it 5 or 6 times in the past 10 days, as it is very thin & light, but provides some warmth. He wears it it the early morning and late evening when walking the dog and it's just a little chilly. It would not be sufficient though for temperatures under 10 degrees, it just isn't thick/warm enough.I believe the days of 3 in 1 jackets are gone, replaced by company's wanting you to purchase multiple jackets with differing capabilities.

I bought one of these North Face fleeces in blue many years ago. It has stood the test of time coming through much use and many washes and still looking very good. It hasn't become raggedy or anything like that. Hence I bought this one in black to double my North Face fleece collection.I'd describe it as medium thickness and it fits well. I'm a large on most things and indeed the large size of this fleece fits me fine. It's nice and soft too.It's a joy to wash because it dries very quickly, which would make ideal to take on holiday. I love these fleeces and have 2 of them in Zion orange, which is good for getting spotted when jogging or walking on an autumn evening but not so garish that you can't wear it out and about when not running. Have owned them a while and they launder very well and show little signs of aging. The zip and collar keep your neck snug when its chilly and you do it all the way up but you can undo it when you warm up. I often tie mine around my waist by the arms when jogging and it stays put and doesn't show signs of the abuse. I'd buy another but I they're so hard wearing I don't anticipate needing to for a long time.If it's very cold,

I have been a great admirer of North Face products because of their good quality and attention to details. That said when I saw these on reduced price on Amazon there was no question that I will buy them. I have been using them for a while now and have been amazed at how lightweight yet warm they have proved to be even in windy conditions. They look really smart as well - having been the source of a few compliments already - can't fault them for the price I paid and the feel of it as such.All in all I am very happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a good quality fleece jacket.

I have had one of these which I have used regularly for skiing for many years and it is still in quite good condition but I decided that it was time for a new one. This seems to be made to the same standard but the only comment I would make is that North Face seem to have adjusted their stock sizes. I used to be a standard XL but this seems to be quite a bit larger on me in this and other recently bought garments; believe me it's not me getting smaller!

I bought this a couple weeks back and it is really exceeding my expectations. I wear it all the time. In doors when it's a bit cold. Outdoors too, (i just put a hoodie on underneath). It is light weight but don't let this fool you. It traps warmth and doesnt let cold air through. Obviously, itself alone isn't appropriate for weather like snow. But around this autumn time when it's just a bit chilly, it's perfect. Would recommend.

I'm usually an XL on Northface clothing, but this seems a bit on the large size. This probably me losing a little weight(if only) but the price was cheaper for the xl compared to the large. Something I can live with though.Quality is excellent as always and keeps the winter chills away on its own or with a filet or down coat over the top, nothing else needed except trousers( don't want to be arrested for public exposure) .

Used it for a few weeks now.ProsExtremely warm for something light weight. I normally just wear a plain black or dark coloured tshirt under the sweater and it looks stylish while keeping you warm.Cons- The material doesn’t feel premium. Time will tell how long it lasts.Overall very satisfied with the purchase considering it was around half the price of what other retailers were selling for and it’s really comfy.

I love this fleece, I bought it to replace another North Face fleece which has been my fleece for a year-long travel and guess what, it's still going strong so I had to postpone putting this one on but I can assure you it looks great and, exceptionally well done and will last you a long time as long as you stay away from those fire sparks that penetrate fleece like armour-piercing rounds through cardboard.

A great top, very lightweight but very warm, nice to layer up with a nice short sleeved T...I've worn, a thermal vest, a T like mentioned above, then this can been extremely warm!If it's windy, or going to rain or both, I'll wear my, The North Face Millerton Jacket with the same, combination!Lovely feel, and well worth the price.Was around £15 @time of review in2019

The material,style and colours shown interested me as the nearest that I had come to this style before were "roll neck sweaters. The Fleese were not quite so restrictive. I have now bought 3 and will no doubt be buying more colours. The material used is very luxurious and soft to the touch. Very comfortable. Excellent value for the money.

To replace a craghoppers bear grills base camp fleece and I’m sticking to north face from now on. Bought XL it fits perfectly with some room to move about, cuffs and helm are elasticated and it’s not tight.Perfect on a chilly summers evening/ out walking with a chilly wind and will do the job under a winter coat . 10/10 thank you .

Excellent look and feel to this TNF top.I've had these before and they are warm enough for me to wear throughout the Winter months. They feel soft and the fit is comfortable, but not baggy. Older versions had a welded sleeve pocket, that came apart after about a year, but this newer model has a sewn pocket, that is much stronger.

Danger of buying on line is that you don't get to handle the product before purchasing. In this case I was dissapointed by the poor/cheap/light quality of the fleece material used for this pullover. Ultimately, I got what I paid for but I would not have bought it had I handled it beforehand. Design and all other aspects - good.

Like an old pair of slippers, my favourite fleece and my third purchase as I wear them constantly - Warm, yet lightweight so great for the changeable coastal weather (lucky to live on the coast). Sizing is spot on and the elastic sleeve and hem last well even with heavy use. Never been let down with North Face products
