I got this game several years ago and thought it was good. Now I think it is exceptionally good, every game I have played since then has had worse or comparable gameplay and graphics, I still use RvS as benchmark for other FPS games.The game uses the UT2 engine, only requiring a modest computer to run yet providing significantly better graphics than other games at the time and still acceptable graphics today. Additionally all the usual Unreal cheats work (in single player mode).Moving onto gameplay, forget Counter-Strike's "tactical shooter" tag, RvS is much more in depth and realistic. There are loads of weapons and accessories to choose from. You can select AI controlled team members to support you,

Tactical combat at it's very best, outstanding graphics,real world weapons,absorbing planning,superior multiplayer.If you get war weary, just plan the actions of your teams, and then observe them faithfully obey your orders in the spectator mode.Even the training missions are outstanding.The plot of the single player action is a little weak, but that just holds the game together while you enjoy the action.

Spent hundreds of hours playing this game. Really fun and has a good selection of weapons.
