I've worn this since 1978. The lady I baby sat for had received a bottle for xmas and I complimented how lovely she smelt. I mis heard the name and bought the biggest bottle of Avons chic. It was awful but my mum had said that perfume can smell different on a woman's skin. The lady was kind enough to buy me a bottle for my birthday and I've worn it ever since. When yardley was no longer I was heart broken so could only get it from a gift shop in Hemsby till they had no more. My daughter googled it and thankfully found it on line. So next year I'll have been wearing it for 40yrs. I've had so many compliments over the years and a lot of men ask for the name.

When I wear this perfume everybody knows. It's subtle and sophisticated, just like me. And it's cheap! But I'm not. No, to win my favour you have to try hard, really hard.This perfume makes everything easy. The day sails by in a mist of floral tones and deep oriental notes. It's a masterpiece in a spray bottle. It says what I want to say without whispering a word. It is my signature, my life, my fragrance. Understand? Now, stop wasting my time. I've got a chiffon dress and a meadow to frolic in ;-)

Used to wear this sometimes in the 80s ..Was always a lovely smell .. Caught my eye whilst browsing so I ordered it .. Somewhere between Clinique Aromatics Elixir and Paloma Picasso ..And Aramis 900 and the fab Avon Timeless Quite powerful and Spicy .. Really good doesn't last as long but hey it's a big bottle and fab price for the daytime when you might not want to wear your expensive stuff .. I'd buy it again ..

Beautiful.If you like 'chypre' oak-mossed based perfumes - Magie Noire, Paloma Picasso, Estee Lauder Knowing, etc - rather than horrible modern sugar or aquatic ones, this is for you.I smelled this on a lady in a shop recently and just had to ask her what it was, it smelled like class, like the 70s, of course I came to Amazon and bought this straight away.Plus for what it is, it's really cheap!

This is the nicest perfume/cologne I have ever worn. I have used it since Yardley used to make it. I get compliments every time I wear it, which is a lot! My husband buys me Channel No 5 which I also love and Chique has the same beautiful long lasting fragrance, that I adore at just a fraction of the price.I shall always continue to purchase it as its so affordable + lasts all day long! Love it!

I loved this perfume in the 80's and bought it for myself on seeing it again just before Christmas for nostalgia. I'm so glad I did! It still smells the same (like freesias to me) and I always feel good wearing it. I don't know why I stopped wearing it. It turned out to be my Sister-in-laws all time favourite too, so, I know someone who was very happy with their Christmas present Christmas 2015.

I was so chuffed to find my favourite perfume from years ago. Back in the Seventies I wore this and many people, strangers included, commented on how lovely I smelt. I have wished for years that it would come back into circulation so was stunned when I found it on Amazon. So happy and at such a good price; I wear this every day and it smells just as fine as it ever did.

So glad to find this perfume again, I couldnt wait to smell it once I ordered it. I used to always wear it in my youth!! I wasnt disappointed, it still smells the same, lots of good comments from people when I wear it proving it is ageless (sadly not like me!!) but it helps :) Arrived well packed and on time. Will be ordering again when this one is running low.

The perfume is lovely . Very much like Paloma Picasso smell . This is definitely stronger than the other cheaper 50 ml bottle I bought . I would say a lot of bang for your cash. Buy it and see. I buy this perfume as I smelt it on someone and it smelt beautiful. I thought it would cost about £60 but no under £10 it's a bargain and a keeper love it thank you .

Great perfume used it since I was 14 years old I'm 58 now , fabulous smell always get compliments when wearing it , more so than when I wear very expensive perfume .I don't know what I would do if I couldn't get it any more , keep on selling and I'll keep on telling people about it , fantastic product and serviceThanks catherine

This is my perfume from 1971” still today it never fails to attack attention with comments of how nice i smell or house guest saying i smell just as good at the end of the night as i did on their arrival”... WIN’ WIN’ will always wear this and such good value no need to worry can wear daytime to’ .... just bcoz I can”! ?

Having used this perfume since the 1980’s, it’s still one of the most beautiful scents I’ve ever come across. It’s so elegant and classy with lots of longevity. I absolutely adore this fragrance and get so many lovely comments from both male and female!! The body spray is also wonderful and good value for money.

I love the smell of this perfume, I am quite a snob about perfume I usually ware Jo Malone, Molton Brown or Tom Ford however this perfume takes me back to the 1980's when I was in my heady late teens early 20's and it still smells good. I get more positive comments about this than the expensive stuff !

Hi. My sister asked me to find her chique by Yardley that used to be her favourite fragrance in the late 70's and 80's.I found this, the outer box is the same, but still was not sure as it is a different manufacturer name. We tried it and, Yes it is the original one. It took me back to my teens :)

used to wear this perfume in the 70s, still wearing it now, always getting asked what it is by total strangers! great for daytime or night, my friends have bought it after smelling it on me, everyone loves it, great product and you don't have to keep re applying it all day, would recommend.
