Ideal case for the Samsung Tab A 9.7 inch with the S-Pen. The tablet can be stood in landscape mode at any angle with one long edge gripping the rubbery base which becomes the inner side against the screen. ie its a tent shape. Just watched the last F1 race with it propped up beside me in TV mode. The only thing it doesn't have is an auto shut off for the tablet.I thought this was the situation when I bought it but I needed the slot for the S-Pen as a priority. Hence four stars not five. Its not the cheapest by a long way but it grips the screen well with its plastic edges and does not intrude onto the screen like some universal cases do,

Perfect fit and nice matt finish, just what was required to protect my tablet and a handy stand for using video messaging.
