Well, I think it works, but it's difficult to be sure. Its use is rather non-intuitive, it comes with essentially no instructions (beyond plugging in and switching on), and the online support leaves a lot to be desired -- much of it seems to relate to older versions of the various bits of associated software, which differ subtly from the current versions, and the video tutorials are difficult to follow. They really need to do better on this -- these gizmos aren't cheap and it shouldn't be too much to ask for more information to be provided for the average user (or perhaps I should say, the less capable / tech-savvy user!) who wants to start with basic tasks and work up from there. Unlike previous cheap NAS drives I've bought, this unit is easy to set up, and is quick. I'm getting backup data transfer rates of 5 - 6 Gb/minute, which is fantastic. I've set up a Timemachine partition, which works well, and the remote access also seems to be good. Overall, recommended.

Replacement for my WD MyCloudMirror that gradually became useless due to disconnections.Love this bit of kit. Been using for a couple of months now and does everything well.Would buy again and probable will when I fill it up !
