For the price this is a great unit. Small enough to carry around with you and feel secure due to the metal casing. I use this to back up my home videos of the family, and when one is full, buy another, then another, then another at this price, you are holding hours of film, for a small price, plus you can take it with you and plug it in to watch on another system. Great value

My 3rd backup hard drive in 5 years stopped working. Every time I buy a product like this and the drive still works ! This one is quite basic and fiddly to fit the drive into but it works fine.

Seems to be working really well as a plug and play. Only downside is that it is advertised as coming with a carry case...but the hard drive doesn't fit inside it as it's way too small!

I gave a less than favourable review and would now like to state that I have subsequently found this HDD to be very good and would like to withdraw my earlier review.

Purchased for my daughter for University. Nice and portable plus super easy to use. Would recommend as a useful back up facility.

This unit is very handy and holds such a lot of memory, but the connection can tend to be a bit fragile
