I was worried that I would not have the knowledge to use this type of product. I am not very technical but knew that I needed to back up quite a lot of information from my Mac before I lost it ! I bought the Bipra based on some of the reviews that I read and obviously the price. I was not sure what to expect given the lower price bracket of this product. I found it incredibly easy to use - simply plug in and up pops the Bipra icon on your desktop. I am delighted with the product and would recommend it to anyone looking for this type of External Hard Drive.

These come formatted for whatever system you use, MS Windows or Mac OS X. I have an Apple MacBook and must say that this HDD is excellent value for money. It is very small (credit-card sized) very quiet and very reliable. The computer recognised it straight away and I have done several backups on it now. It is incredibly quick when reading/writing to and would definitely recommend to anyone planning on buying an external Hard Drive. I shall invest in another one when I require more storage and have filled this one.

I have a large hard drive as a back up but wanted another one to have a further back up for i tunes and my photos and one that is portable in case my computer and large hard drive were stolen or destroyed by fire. This fits the bill perfectly plenty of room for my large music collection and not too expensive. It worked straight out of the box on my desk top mac. Highly recommended

Was a bit wary before buying reading the somewhat mixed reviews. Very happy with this product. Connected the power cord and USB to my computer and it backed up stuff for the past 3 years in one hour . Now on daily back up. Went off once but plugged it again after switching off and works well,

Needed a drive to backup files from my MacBook and this did the trick. Worked straight from the box and backups were quick.The drive was actually 500GB and not the 400GB which I ordered (and what was stated on the box that was delivered.)Excellent purchase and would recommend.

I was doubtful of this hard rive as I was more confident with Toshiba one, but it completely exceeded my expectations! It does have a bit of noise but it doesn't really effect anyone and it's super slim which is good news when you need to stuff it in your luggage somewhere ;-)

For some reason I got a 650gb drive instead, not complaining though. Backed up a lot of items from my laptop and transfer is pretty quick. Only negative is at times it takes a while to be recognised but that might be my laptop, I'm not that big a computer person to know.

I bought this a while ago and it still runs strong! Use this for my Xbox, games are so massive and yet internal storage is so small!This harddrive is perfect for consoles, computers or pretty much whatever you need. Small, lightweight and easy to use. Can’t fault it!

Good looking unit which offers great value for money and worked straight from the box as a Time Machine backup HD for my Macbook Air.The polished back case is very elegant - but I guess it would be nice to have a matching stainless steel option for the Mac PB range.

Just connect this drive to your Mac with the two cables provided (no drivers required) drag and drop your files. Eject, put it in your pocket. Sorted. Caution: don't put the mini-disc in your Mac - you don't need it, it's for PCs to install drivers.

Had this for a couple of months now and use it with my Mac as a time machine backup. It works well and plagged and played from day 1. Powered by the USB2 connection so need a Mac which has the power to drive the device. My 2013 Macbook pro does.

this was the cheapest external drive that i could get, and it does what it's supposed to do. i was confused by the mini disc, and only later found out that i dont need it to connect to a Mac. It automatically starts time machine.

Christmas present for my son who's Mac was overloaded. Connected easily, he was delighted. Arrived well packaged, promptly, did everything expected of it. Great product, well pleased, would recommend seller and product.

So far, so good. Transferred all our videos off the mac onto this device. Took a while and hopefully they're now stored safely giving us a lot more space on the computer. Good price too compared to some others.

I can't fault the item, it works very quickly and is very easy to use.However mine turned up without instructions and the CD. Not a massive problem as its just a plug and play device but a little disappointing
