The negative reviews for this product are confusing! Infact it put me off buying for a while!! Reading people saying it’s just tape and plastic?? Yes it is however,I have been battling for months with plastic, cardboard, bin bags etc to find something that actually blocks the light, doesn’t fall down, doesn’t look dodgy to a passerby!So I caved and bought this - it’s well worth the money. It’s a huge sheet, with a large roll of tape, there’s enough to do multiple windows! It’s lightweight, completely blocks the light there’s absolutely no light pouring in at the sides, plus it looks very neat!! My 10 month old that wakes at 6am is now sleeping until 7:30! Gutted I didn’t buy it sooner!

I was hesitant about buying this due to some of the reviews but thought as it’s only cheap it was worth the gamble and I’m glad I did.I wanted something to use for 6 months and didn’t want to invest in temporary baby blackout sheets. I put these up in my bedroom to help my 7 week daughter sleep in the day and this has completely blacked out the room. It was easy to cut and stick up with the double sided tape provided. Yes it’s only a plastic sheet but it’s great and does an amazing job. Sheet is big enough to do multiple rooms. Not sure what the tape will be like to remove (residue) but would highly recommend.

Underestimated just how big this would be and I’m sure it’s bigger than 2m by 3m but I’m not complaining! I had more than enough to do my sons bedroom and my own room! It’s up tonight so hoping it will help my son sleep through and will most definitely help me sleep after my night shifts! The picture is in the middle of the day and the sun was beaming! I put my sons projector on to try and show how dark it is but you can’t see much. I decided to buy Velcro dots before this even came as I thought it would make it easier so I can’t review the tape provided but you get a massive roll!

It is basically a heavy duty plastic sheet. Not a bad thing.This has been fitted to half of my conservatory roof as I was not able to see my computer screen when the sun was shining through it.It cuts easily with either scissors or a knife. I had to create an angle for one side.I used velcro tape to hold in place. Still stuck up there after 2 month.Helps keep the heat down and the glare on my screen.The price if very good if you consider other options, such as 'solar' film etc.

This blind is HUGE and works brilliantly, blocking out all sunlight, leaving my bedroom pitch black. In the summer, my room was in broad daylight from 4am, even with 'blackout' curtains. Now, with this, I can sleep through until the dreaded alarm clock! One tip though, if you want access to your top windows to open them, you will need to cut the blinddown to size and fit them just covering the window.

I really liked this product.I didn't use it on window frame or glass, I actually put it on the wall around the window to cover as much as possible and two layers of tape sufficed.It really does block out the light and it appears to help with the sound a bit too.I would thoroughly recommend this product.

Good product as so far they block out the early morning sun and are white so unobtrusiveThe instructions were clear and the sheet fairly easy to cut the sticky tape is fiddly to apply and to remove the backing is difficult however the product stuck well to the window frame and so far so good

And inexpensive and easy to apply product that does exactly what it's meant to - completely blacks out a room. I've bought this product 3 times now for various houses/rooms. I particularly like that it's white- helps to stop the room looking too gloomy without the window light!

Good for a temporary fix. Does what it says on the tin. It is difficult to fit and keep it smooth and wrinkle free. Work well though. I tried fixing it with velcro instead of the tape it comes with but I would recommend using the tape provided as then there is no gap at all.

I bought this to put over the inner tent so it would provide some shade once midday came about. It made a big difference. It is a big size so could be cut down if needed or folded over. I imagine it would work well if put behind a curtain as it is more intended for.

Black's light out completely, however if you are not happy with putting up and taking down every bday the room is totally dark all day and can make home look a bit derelict from outside. I used it on a back bedroom so i was happy to leave it up .

Well worth the money. I only needed it to black out my bedroom window and it certainly does. I have plenty left to. The tape does hold it well but time will tell. You have to cut it to size but it is easy enough.

They are great for keeping the room dark but when the sun is on them, they get really hot and so warms up my room. Not sure which I prefer - dark room and heat from the pvc or bright room with cool windows.

These are amazing. For extra darkness I sealed them on with some white duct tape.The difference is incredible.Remember when u apply them, make sure there is a good overlap over the window frame

Does the job. As recommended on previous reviews, I have bought velcro and use it instead of the double-face tape furnished. I can easily remove it during the day and put it back in the evening.
