Beautiful teddy bear that I'm sure will be cherished for years to come. Bought as a gift for my new niece or nephew, and my own children have decided they want one from Santa since seeing it. I was unsure whether to go for the 32 or 40 cm but this is the perfect size for play, cuddles, and keeping once older. Doesn't come with a box as other reviews have mentioned but who cares about a box. Some tissue paper to wrap it and maybe a nice ribbon in a gift bag will be fine. I will definitely be buying again.

Elmar bear is one of the nicest teddies I have seen. He is very soft and cuddly, his joints are easily moved and his fur is of plush which can be washed if need be. He is great value for money as he should last a long while if cared for properly. Elmar has an inquisitive expression on his face as though he is listening to what you say to him.I am still a big kid when it comes to teddies and I think he is a truly friendly bear to be loved for a long time.

...was just disappointed that it did not arrive in it's own Steiff box as it was my first grandchild's first teddy and needed to be kept nice. I would have thought that all Steiff's came boxed - not just with screwed up paper and in a cardboard box! In fact I did worry a bit that it was genuine ....I did try to request one on the site but there seemed no way except to say I didn't want it and wanted to return it.

i bought this as a gift for my one day to be daughter in law, she has never owned a teddy, it arrived within two days of me placing the order and was gratefully received, her face was a picture when she opened her present and like me fell in love with elmar, would definitely buy from world of bears again

Gorgeous teddy which I am very happy to have in my collection-Elmar is the first Steiff and intended for a baby cousin however I have decided to get a little Steiff rabbit instead and keep Elmar for my old self. Little bit disappointed he didn't have his own box though.

Great little Teddy bear. Good value, and is a good smaller, modern version of the old original Steiff Teddy. I should know, as I had one as a child, ---long since lost, or thrown away in clear- out by parents,----- hence the reason for buying this one.

This is such a cute Teddy, well made, soft fur and an excellent price. He looked a bit bedraggled when I got him out of the bag but with a gentle brush looked fabulous. Bought as a special birthday present for my cousin and she was so happy with him.

Over the last four years I have bought five Elmar Bears from Willow tree Bears ,these have been purchased to give to our grandchildren as a long term investment, which I trust will continue to appreciate in value like in previous years..

This little bear is soooo cuddly and a darling little gift for anyone. We bought numerous things for our christmas raffle and this little item was one of the favourites people wanted to win. As usual 'steiff' never lets us down.

Bought as a gift, recipient was extremely happy and the bear is exactly what you expect from Steiff. More for the manufacturer, but the packaging itslef could be more appealing, simply sealed plastic bag nothing special in that

Teddy arrived in perfect condition - he is a lovely light golden colour and so I am so pleased as it is a first Christmas present for our Grandson - a real traditional bear that I hope should give many years of pleasure.

I bought this bear as a first birthday gift for my grandson Theodore; and I'm pleased to say that for my Teddy it was love at first sight with his teddy. I'm hopefull they will become life-long companions and friends.

I bought this teddy as a gift for my new Grandchild, he is a stiff who is washables can be loved and still look his best after being drooled over and coverd in food. By having a quick wash and dry and as good as new.

We were really happy with this bear. He was just what we wanted. Soft to the touch, but with a firmness that lots of modern soft toys don't have. His face has loads of personality. A classic bear.

Beautiful pedigree Teddy at a good price. Excellent quick delivery and packaging. Too early for my granddaughter to appreciate yet but when the time comes she’ll have the best Teddy in the world.
