I must point out that I have only used this hacksaw once but on the sole occasion I did, I managed to cut an appropriate length off a metal carpet threshold. The device was easy to use and the teeth seem quite strong. I may or may not have more challenging tasks for this hacksaw in the future but after this one usage I highly recommend it.

Saw was great isn't flimsly like other cheap hacksaws the handle can resist a lot of tension and for normal work is great (not sure about heavy-duty) the includes blade hasn't shown any signs of dulling after a fair amount of wood cutting and over all I think this item is worth buying.

Never had to buy a Hacksaw before always used very old ones( which I lost)My new Stanley one is very light and easy to use ang grip.The blade is very easy to change standard 12" blades and with the plastic wing nut makes it easy to put the correct tension on the blade

I didn't want to pay the prices asked for a bone saw which I require to cut up bones I get from the butcher for my dog. I thought I'd buy this in the hope it would do the job which it does. Only fault was the blade doesn't have a cover for after use.

good strong saw it also cuts smaller pieces of wood very well and easy to cut things on angles with this saw instead of a big saw that's hard to cut an angle and saw with I'm very pleased with it and fast delivery also price was also perfect

Cheap and works well. I bought to cut some plastic piping for when I was installing new filtration on my pond. I expected it to be more flimsy, but it's actually not too bad at all - better than expected sums it up.

Bought this when I needed to take half-an-inch of my saddle pole. Before I had used a junior hacksaw and made very little progress but with this I sliced through the steel like butter. Perfect and a nice price.

Used this to cut approx 5mm steel threaded bar which was the back of some new cupboard handles. Cut through with minimum fuss and left a fairly smooth finish. A little file afterwards and it looked great.

I use mine for cutting up frozen turkey necks so if this is your thing it's one to get! Whilst the grip is molded plastic the whole thing is very sturdy and should last a good time (last me out anyhow).

Great hack saw, especially for the price! Quite big and robust, much better than I expected! Used it to saw through screws that were rusted beyond repair. Very happy with it!

The product itself looks great, though haven’t used it yet.Extremely poor packaging - arrived opened and the driver just dumped it on the doorstep and walked away.

Easy to use hacksaw which makes light work of most metals. I’ve been using it to cut down door handle link rods and it has no trouble getting through steel.

Worked perfectly well. I did have to refix the blade after dropping the saw but it continued to work well once I had worked out how it fitted back together
