The 5* review says it all really. A good, solid product made by a reputable company at a good price, etc.Mine that turned up was an Aluminium BEAM construction level; i.e. actually made from an aluminium beam. I can only think that the 1* reviewer was unlucky and got a box construction product by mistake, in which case they should have sent it back.So why 4* not 5? Well, I am a little concerned about the philosophy of putting a measuring scale along the top only painted/printed on and which could easily wear off, especially if the device is used as a straight edge to draw along as well. This thing is supposed to be a level, not a ruler, so either engrave the scale on or leave it off altogether and have a nice,

What needs to be said about this spirit level, its a good product made by a well known and respected company, sold by Amazon at a very good price when compared to the DIY outlets that you find in almost ever town.Looked afer with reasonable care should last for years.
