The typical set of highlighters always seem to come in fluorescent pink, green, yellow and blue, with orange seemingly added to the list in recent years. The advantage of such highlighters is that they really make things stand out however, the extremely bright colours can be quite garish.This highlighter set comes with pastel, rather than fluorescent, colours and in my view, makes them much more palatable, especially when you are looking for a highlighter which is a bit more subtle. Being a set of 8, the slight difficulty is that a number of the colours are quite similar and if I was to attempt to describe the colours in basic terms, I would say that the set includes 1 x yellow, 1 x blue,

I'm a paper anorak, I only use Clairefontaine in France, and Oxford in the UK. I also love quality pens like the Stabilo Swings to write on that beautiful paper, or on LASER printed paper. You could use them on Inkjet, but you'd have to have a pretty quick and light touch doing it, and you would need to wipe the end of the pen with tissue paper after each highlighting to avoid dirty smudges.I have been using these highlighters consistently since they first appeared - at least since 1990. They are just great, do the job, and I'm just using now one I bought 8 years ago, so it's very much worth it even if you don't use them up immediately.As someone else mentioned in a review,

PROS: I am a stationary addict and absolutely love these highlighters, they are the best I have used so far and produce stunning vivid colours great for school notes and when studying. The turquoise and peach shades are not ones you can find often which are gorgeous colours! Also I love the feeling as you hold them, the pen shape makes them so easy to use unlike other pen highlighters and the ink flows flawlessy. They don't dry out as easily as other highlighters so I can use them after months and they'd still be okay. (In fact, it's 2016 and I got these in 2015).CONS: The only thing is they are more on the pricey side for a student budget so I try not to use them so much in hopes to not use the ink up too much.

Highlighters are a great way for me to stay organised when I'm ordering from Amazon and the colours in these looked really cute. They have a handy little clip which made it easy to slide and hold a highlighter to the top of the page and to my surprise, without damaging the paper. They hold well to a single piece of paper or multiple sheets. I tried out all the colours on dried black and blue ink, on white paper. The colours are gorgeous and pretty. I actually prefer them to standard highlighter colours, especially that harsh, bright yellow. These are far gentler on the eye and still help make the highlighted words stand out.I then tried a couple of them out on freshly written words and they performed well for me,

Absolutely love these, when first taking the lids off, I struggled a little as I have dexterity issues with my hands, and the lids are smooth and narrow, but once I got them off, every time after was easier.Lovely chiselled nib, for broad highlighting (roughly 3mm), but also able to to slightly fine line work too.The colours are perfect pastel shades, which look great together, dry down matte and are just really pleasant to use.Easer to hold than the thicker style highlighters, these are around half the width, longer and fit my hands easier.( 1.1cm narrowest holding point - 1.4cm at the widest - 8mm thickness at holding point)Easy to grip.

I ordered these highlighters to use when marking up my pacenotes (rally navigation instructions) as I thought the extra different shades might be useful.The colours are nice and bright. There isn't as much difference between the two pinks as I'd hoped for. The blues are (to my eyes) a greeny-light blue and a darker blue. The orange, green and yellow are basically the same as a standard pack of highlighters.They worked well on my freshly inkjet printed materials, with minimal smudging. They didn't smudge on my pacenotes (plain papers) and they didn't bleed through the page to the other side. However, they do seem to be quite a wet highlighter, so on thinner papers there is occasional bleed through,

I had been using a Bic yellow highlighter but found they ran out pretty quick so I picked one of the yellow single sold Stabilo Swing Cools from a local shop in an emergency.The nib on the shop bought Stabilo broke a little but it still works fine with no issues. It didn't put me off buying this set.I changed my planner system and I wanted some good strong colours for a new notebook.These Stabilo brights fit the bill.The colours are great.Just give a little bit of drying tine for any ink and you'll get no smudges.I will probably try the pastels set of Stabilo Swing Cool once my stock of pastel highlighters runs out.I am already a fan of the Zebra Mildliner for another notebook but- but when

Nice set of 6 pens in a useful and robust plastic wallet. Exactly what I needed to highlight the indexes (indexi???) in several recipe books without obliterating the original text. The pens are not round which is a bit different but they fit really nicely in my hand and are comfortable to use. The colours are pastel but still obviously there. Yes there is just a little bit of a darker mark when you reach the end of the line you are drawing. But nothing catastrophic. And yes the colour can sometimes show through on the other side of the page. but almost like a shadow. It really didn't matter for the way I was using these. Perhaps if you are working on a journal and you want it to be absolutely pristine then these might not be for you.

This Stabilo set of 8 highlighters arrived packed in the plastic blister.I love its unusual pastel, delicate colours.They have water based ink so don't have any scent.Great, compact design, look nice and are comfortable to grip.Easy to open/close and have practical clip to be attached to paper, pocket etc. if needed.They can create two line widths - 1mm or 4mm.Very easy to use.I tried them on A4 printing paper and they are fine, not bleeding at all, maybe because they dry very fast on the paper.I use wedged side to highlight important information in my learning books, as well these highlighters didn't bleed.Didn't smudge the gel pen when I tried them on top of it.Lovly quality and shades,

This is a lovely selection of pastel coloured highlighters; much easier on the eye than traditional bright yellow, orange, pink or green highlighters.The price of these seems fairly reasonable, considering they're branded ones and the quality of each pen. It's a shame they don't come in a storage case though; the included packaging being disposable and, although it could be used for storing them, I suspect it won't last long for such purpose.My reason for dropping one star; the green highlighter is cracked along the pen. This appears to have been done at the factory rather than in transit, since the packaging isn't damaged. It's therefore a quality control issue.Apart from the crack,

These highlighter work like a charm, they do not bleed through the pages, they dry almost instantaneously and are not very opaque as to cover the text beneath them.The tips are very fine so you are not highlighting more than you need them to. The colours are light, bright and the selection is quite varied so you can use different colours for different things. I like that they have clips included so they can easily be attached to the notebook.I have used Stabilo products for years now and I have never had any issues with them, I love using their products and consequently would recommend them. These highlighters as well are very well made, work flawlessly and are a good value for the money.

Absolutely love these highlighters! They're like the original (dare I say iconic) Stabilo highlighter's cool young cousin. I love Stabilo Boss but I have quite small writing and they are way too thick, so these are the perfect alternative.The colours are really gorgeous (stationery addict over here), and they aren't obnoxiously loud, but bright enough to make your notes pop. I also love having 8 highlighters because you can colour code your notes without worrying about running out of colours halfway through.I also think they're nice and long lasting (although I keep having to rebuy them because my friends can't keep their hands off!). Definitely recommend.

Great set of highlighter pens in lovely pastel colours which are true to their casing colours, makes a change from the usual neon types you get. The pens are a nice shape and feel nice to hold. The pens do their job well, you can use to highlight or even for colouring just like felt tips and expect these to last a long time. The pens even have an anti-dry out feature which i’ve never come across before, i am keen to find out how effective this is.This pack is just under £10 (at the time of writing this review) which i think is pretty good from this brand. They’re a good quality set of pens and a nice addition to my stationery, i look forward to using these.

First off. This is an honest review, I don’t work for the company, so yeah. Just clearing the air. Don’t worry just an honest buyer, if you don’t believe, check my other reviews. Anyways, I bought this because my friend got them and I was so jealous. The pens are literally amazing. Perfect pastel colours, the highlighters don’t smudge with the pens, it makes your book look really neat and tidy. I even have used these for posters. It glides along the page really swiftly and you just can’t go wrong with these. Trust me. If you’ve got the money and your interested, ignore the hate comments and buy them. They are totally worth it.

These highlighters are just incredible. I've had them for almost a year now and they still have plenty left in them. The cap fits perfectly on the end when in use which is so convenient and they're easy to hold. The colours are lovely, they're true pastels but still show up strongly. The size is ideal for highlighting in books with small print and never smudges ink underneath it. Even after using for hours they don't start to dry out - they're honestly the best highlighters I've ever had. One of the nibs on mine is fixed on slightly crooked but for the price and overall quality it doesn't bother me at all.
