I have been a fan of adult colouring in for a couple of years and have gone through a variety of pens, budget and expensive. In the case of pens, you do get what you pay for and at a pound a pen, these do work out at good value for good quality for a seasoned user of colouring pens. The tip is nylon, so there is no give in it, but the lightest of pressure does produce a thinner line, saving the need to switch to a fineliner. The solid tips are perfect for writing with, but not always for colouring, particularly on larger areas. The barrel of the pen is not round; so it takes a bit of a wiggle to get it into the most comfortable position. The lid clips nicely on the bottom of the pen so not to lose it.There is a clip on the pen that is only really needed for clipping onto the card in the packet; other than that it is redundant and occasionally gets in the way. Each pen is marked with its own barcode and serial number, but I can't find anywhere on the website to reorder individual pens. The range of colours are vibrant and colour in well without leaving streaks. The one thing that disappoints me is the expensive pens are in a cheap plastic wallet with only a piece of card separating the two rows. It is flimsy and I don't expect I will be able to keep the pens organised in it for long. I also have Staedtler pens which are at a similar price point and come in a hard plastic case which is so much better for keeping the pens organised and adds to the overall quality. The thing that sets these pens apart from Staedtler is the nylon tip and the fact there are 24 pens to the pack. The Staedtler pack only contains 20.These are described as not bleeding through paper, but I have experienced some bleeding. The pens are visible through 80gsm paper, but they don't actually bleed when just writing, only when colouring.Apart from the cheap plastic wallet, I like these pens, they are good quality and I expect a long life from them.

Firstly, check all of my reviews if you don’t believe me, I’m an honest reviewer and a verified buyer, so I’m not working for the company and I’m not lying. A personal experience of mine is that, some items have amazing reviews like the product is amazing and fantastic and for the same item it also says the product was not working when arrived and sorts of stuff like that. So it clearly shows that some people are lying, but don’t worry, not me. It’s important for you to know that I’m giving my most honest feedback to help you.Actual Review:These Nylon tip weighting pens are amazing. I can use them for actual book righting as the tip of he pen is thin enough and hard so I know that the pen wouldn’t squish or become too fat overtime.I guarantee you these pens won’t squish anytime soon, unless that’s your intention and your really trying to squish it. They look very high class and the design is simple colour and white stripe. It would go with any pencil case and any pens. Some people, like myself, hold a pen/ pencil in a particular way which leads to a blister on your finger, for these pens , I still get a blister (I would get it with EVERY pen anyway)But the blister isn’t deep, so it means that the pen is comfortable and it does make a difference. It’s easy to hold, secure in you hand. You can use these pens for, posters, righting, school and colouring too. They not too expensive too seeing as it has most of the main colours including peach, so if you have the money and are interested, I support you to get it as trust me, you won’t regret it

What’s good:High quality, sturdy feelFirm nylon nibsWide range of coloursEven and neat ink distributionWhat’s not so good:Can’t decide if they are really expensive or notThese are a nice sturdy set of coloured pens, which provide a firmness in the hand that can offer a degree of confidence that softer-nibbed or lower quality pens might forego. A lesser set of coloured pens might provide a more wayward or erratic output on paper, but not so with this Stabilo’s. The lids click on with a strong movement and the pen shape is comfortable and ergonomic. I am very pleased with them as pens, the only real down-side I have for them is that for a price of c. £23 (at time of review),that seems like rather a lot for pens to me.You can obviously get cheaper felt-tip pens (or other such fibre tips) from other brands for a lot less money than this, but the end result will obviously vary. If you have experience of Stabilo and you value the quality that they offer with the consistent results that I have so far witnessed, then this might be a price you’re willing to pay.

I like these pens but I wouldn't choose them for regular writing. They do not flow easily like a ball-point or rollerball if the same pressure is applied. Writing 'joined-up' for me feels a little awkward as the resistance changes between direction of stroke. This doesn't mean they cannot be used for regular writing, but this is not the pen for taking swift notes in a meeting. The best use I can think of for these is writing on Post-It notes or annotating documents (other colours are available). I guess this fits the description of 'expressive writing'. For printing fast on the page with a bit of flair I think these are great pens. Despite being nylon tips they don't smell which is a plus. They are comfortable to hold, not too thin like some, and are hexagonal in shape like old pencils. Three of the edges are indented with helps with grip and gives them a good feel. The top of the pen can be attached to the opposite end while in use, with a nice click similar to the tip.Overall these are high quality but I wouldn't buy them for everyday use.

I've really enjoyed using these pens but not as colouring pens, simply as writing pens to add a little colour and interest to my journals and note books. I found that when I tried to use them as colouring pens they bled through the page a little and there was a little bit of bleeding around the edges of coloured areas. I also found them a little too blunt for colouring small areas. But as writing pens I find them lovely to use. I also found that although the pens area a lovely quality and have fabulous lids that click onto the end of the pen so don't end up flying off, the packaging was really cheap feeling. In fact I've removed my pens from the packaging and put them into a pot.I found that there was a good variety of colours but some of them were very similar to each other. I think in the future i'll stick to pencils for all my colouring in. As for the price, they're currently selling for 24 pens for around £24 which I felt was a little expensive for colouring pens even if they are the best quality.

All pens are just the same, right? Not at all - these Stabilo pens are absolutely amazing. They write so smoothly and are bright and bold with no fading. You can write really fast but at the same time the 0.8mm nib is also perfect for quick sketches. The ink dries quickly and what really surprised me was the lack of bleed through. If you make a lot of notes, a multi colour pack is ideal - you get red, yellow, light green, dark green, light blue, dark blue, brown and black. Alternatively, there are large packs of the more 'popular' colours - well worth a look. The tips are strong and well defined, even after using for a long time. They also work well at underlining words or boxing off paragraphs.I have also used them for line drawings and writing music. They are so versatile! The pen itself is an ergonomic design which means no hand cramping if using for extended periods. The price is a little premium but these pens are so worth it. Highly recommended.

For fellow fans of adult colouring books you will enjoy using this range of colours, particurly for getting into finer edging where pencils can sometimes be too bulky. The colours are varied, shades of purple/pink and orange/yellows etc. to allow tonal work whether in drawing freehand or colouring. As advertised the inks are quick drying however I have experienced some bleeding through paper, my reason for deducting one star. Each pen comes with a tightfitting cap that snaps on to prevent leaks or drying out, the lid fits securely on the end for convenience. For writing more than just a few words I do find them a little bit scratchy and would recommend them for adults or older children`s use.I am unable to find any information on the pack as to whether or not the inks are washable. For twenty four pens of this quality I do believe they are value for money.

The pens were delivered In a padded envelope surprisingly not over-packaged for Amazon. They are held in a clear plastic wallet. The Nylon tips are 0.8 writing width and don't flare out like the cheaper pens so they make very clear neat lines for writing with no bleeding out. There are 24 colours; Black; dark grey; light grey; dark brown; mid brown; light brown; peach; light blue; dark blue; mid blue; light blue; turquoise; dark purple; light purple; maroon; pink; dark red; light red; orange; yellow; dark green; mid green; light green and emerald green. The pens are a bit on the pricey side but worth the extra for the quality. I wouldn't let my 5 year old play with them but the teenagers are fine as they look after them better.I don't know how long the pens will last before they run out of ink but they don't bleed out like cheaper pens.

This is a blister pack containing four medium (0.8mm) nylon tip pens. The tip is quite firm and can be used to create a well defined line, or for shading - using either the tip or edge. However, in common with other reviewers I would hesitate to define this as a 'writing' pen as it just doesn't have that feel to it in use. I have used it as a label writing pen and also for writing on Post-It's to stick on the fridge and on the wall calendar we have in the kitchen, but I couldn't see myself using this for writing letters or anything longer than a note. As with other reviewers I did find that there was also a bleed problem with the inks on some papers bleeding through to the other side. That said though the pens are of exceptional quality and available in 24 different colours should basic black not be to your liking.

These STABILO pointMax nylon tip pens are very good quality with fast drying water-based ink that are perfect for my wife's colouring-in projects. These pens have medium nylon tips which give a bold, crisp line with an 0.8mm line width making them ideal for more intricate work whether writing, drawing or colouring-in. These pens are currently around twenty-four pounds for a wallet of twenty-four pens so each one is a pound apiece which is a decent price for the quality of the pens. These are versatile pens that are perfect for many creative projects, art or writing, and are produced by Schwan-Stabilo – the German high quality pen manufacturer. These pens are best used by adults and older children and are recommended.

Designed for expressive writing. I think these are fine for that and something that my kids will make use of rather than being a pen to write normal things with.Agree with other reviewers on the downsides of these pens that they bleed through to the other side so you can only really do work on one side of the sheet, not the reverse, and again agree that the clip seems strange at the non-lid end but maybe that is just because we are accustomed to the opposite and if you chew your pen lids it's better at this end. The pen has positives too. It is easy to grip thanks to the design and the lids click on securely.I have a 4-pack black but other colours are available for even more expressive writingor drawing.

The Stabilo point nylon tip pens are theoretically felt tip pens, they’re more premium than the other type of cheap ones you get and you can totally tell the difference using these. The colours are really bright, true to colour. Vibrant and strong colours. Doesn’t bleed on paper, incredibly comfortable to use. Nice feeling in the hand, the top of the pen can be attached to the end of the pen.Good quality felt tips. Would recommend. Ideal for the kids, crafting and adults. Would purchase these again in the future.Price not currently available therefore not rated.I really do like these Stabilo pens. Nice handy pouch, ideal for keeping pens all together. Washable also, came off material in a normal wash.

This is a really nice selection of bright rainbow colours, plus black, two greys and two browns. The tip is fine and the ink flows smoothly. The lid clicks on firmly. The pens feel nice to hold due to the thin ridges, and look attractive and good quality. I like the slimness of these pens- they dont look or feel like a children's product. A little thick for normal handwriting but then that's not really what these are for- they are great for scribbling, brain storms, and would be good scrapbooking pens. The ink does seep through thin paper on the odd dot, but does not seep through on slightly thicker good quality paper, such as scrapbooking paper or record cards. A lovely product.

I really like these coloured pens.. At £20 plus suspect they are really for adults rather than children. There is an excellent range of colours here all bright and exciting on the eye. I enjoy adult colouring books so have used hee, plus free drawing/colouring. In both cases these pens do the job really, I mean really well, especiallly for the fine edging, the tip is great for this. Pens are quicky drying, much quicker than a lower cost set of pens that I have. The tops fit well on the end of the pen when in use which is good too. I like the pack the pens come in good and strong. At over £20 these pens are not cheaper... yet there are 24 bright colours. Impressed.

I like these pens but won't be using them for writing as I think they are a bit too thick for that. I prefer a fine to medium nib/point for that. These, however, are perfect for something I do like doing, which is Zentangle art. They give me a really striking result to what I create and I would buy them again once this pack has run out just for that. They're nice for colouring in but anyone that wants a professional looking coloured image should really use alcohol markers as they don't leave any lines in the overall finish. I'd recommend these for general everyday use if you don't mind a thicker line to your writing. They go on the paper smoothly and evenly.
