Had this level just under a Month now and love it, I bought this mainly for checking building work and for installing and pipes on a site in Africa so wanted something easy to use and wouldn't break on me.Firstly this was not a cheep level but as they say, you get what you pay for. I have several levels and used lots over the years and this is this is by far the best (its also by far the most expensive too). The build quality of this tool seems very high and whilst ive only had it a month, i've been using it almost every day with no issues to date. I've been fairly careful with it however its fell over a few times been coverd in dust, concrete and sand but is none the worse for it.It can be washed under a tap at the end of the day should concrete or morter come in contact with it .The design of the level is also very nice and has been well thought out, its easy to useand set up. The dual display is clear and easy to read inside and outside even under strong sunlight, it even has a back light function which i havent used in anger yet but would be great in low light. Ive used a Bosch electronic level before and almost bought one instead of this as a cheeper option but im glad I spent the extra, In my opinion this beats the Bosch hands down, the dual display is reason alone to give it the advantage as it makes reading it from above very easy which was not the case with the Bosch, its also easy to calibrate thanks to the clever rubber ends that hold it secure in place at eye level to a vertical surface and easy to read bubble while you set it up.I also like the accoustic feature this level has, I originaly though this to be a gimic but after using this feature I use this on anything I can, its very handy for adjusting things without having to keep looking back to the display. You can also set it up to beep at set gradient or angle, again super handy for pipe laying. The display can show the information in various ways such as mm/m, degrees %age and some stuff I'll never use in imperial units. It also has little arrows to indicate what way things need to go to hit level. The only slight niggle is that it would have been nice to 1 in ??? setting (eg 1 in 60) as thats what the pipe grades i work with are shown as, this is a minor thing which would have been nice to have but in fairness it is easy enought to convert into mm/m.Overall this is a great peice of kit, well designed and easy to use, and as with all good tools makes the job to be done that bit easier. Is it worth the cash?.... for me I'd say just about (although I've always wanted a Stabila level), you really need to use this a lot to justify spending that kind of money and you can get cheeper alternatives. As awesome as this level is, it would be complete over-kill for hanging a few pictures or doing the odd bit of DIY.

I’ve put off purchasing one of these for years mainly because of the cost but I had one of those moments and thought I’m going to treat myself.I’m a carpenter and joiner but seem to be fitting a lot of kitchens lately and the amount of laying on the floor turn the adjustable legs back up to look at the bubble on my traditional level was getting old fast. Now I get one corner on the set out line turn on the beeper and lay on the floor and turn the legs and wait for the continuous tone a lot faster. Oh and the job I was on last week which is and old people’s scheme had to have a new ramp installed but had to be at a certain angle the foreman was having trouble trying to work out this angle I saidI could sort the angle with the over priced flash toy that they had been taking the mick out of for him so I got the job of setting the ramp out took half an hour and payed for the level. This is a fantastic level it is a considered purchase but once you do get one you will think why didn’t I get one before.

I'm a bathroom fitter. I bought this for levelling riser shower trays and baths. Is it worth the price? Probably not, but it saves my back from time to time and the business funds my tools, so I made the decision.I used it today, and lying on my side with my arm at full stretch under a shower tray to adjust the rear legs, it was useful to be able to see the display at a glance. Normally I'd have wriggle out to get my head over the bubble to check for level.I find the audible feature quite irritating. It beeps loudly and constantly, before changing to a continuous sound when level is achieved. Why not just beep when level and otherwise remain silent? Still, it's invaluable when fitting something taller like a bath or a cabinet.Anything really where you have to get low to adjust legs and don't want to be getting up to check a level. The bag is a nice touch. It looks like it will last.

This is one of them tools that is not gonna be used a great deal but one that is extremely handy to have on the odd occasion. I’m a carpenter by trade and my reason for buying one of these was to find the pitch of a roof so I could pitch a new roof onto the extension of the roof I was finding the angle from. Stabila are in my opinion the best. I use nothing but their levels and I trust all my work is perfect due to the fact I’m using their products. This digital level is excellent build quality and it’s very easy to use. It bleeps when it’s perfectly plum or level and I’m pretty sure it can be set to bleep at a set angle of incline also which is handy. The only grumble about it is the price but at the time Amazon were the cheapest.I don’t regret buying it as it is a time saver on certain scenarios and because it’s Stabila you know it’s gonna be accurate.

I love this spirit level. Having assumed for some time that the bubble in a level MUST be accurate (that's physics!), I have found to my cost how often one level disagrees with the next and that accuracy is all over the place. This is an expensive piece of kit and not really justified for the amount of (amateur) joinery I do, but it has transformed my building of wardrobes and shelves. I have obviously paid for features I don't really need but the simplicity, accuracy and speed with which it comes up with an absolutely reliable reading is a liberation.

Yes it’s not cheap, especially this one with the digital angles/pitch but I’m happy I purchased it. These are built to last, not quite like my cheaper ones that I have around that I no longer trust after numerous drops. Stabila has a name for a reason, they’re tanks of their class that are built to do there job beautifully. Never steering away from the cheaper stuff again. Don’t hesitate if you need a level, and I love all the options this digital version offers including the audible alert that works beautifully.

This level is fantastic. It is really well made, super accurate and takes all of the guesswork away. The digital readout means it can be viewed from odd angles without worrying about error. There is also an audible option that is great if you are working on your own and you need both hands to manoeuvre the work piece. I liked it so much that I bought the 60cm version too. These are not cheap but well worth the money.

3rd attempt at getting an accurate spirit level. First couple were not Stabila, opting for a cheaper brand.....but they both had to be returned. Third time I opted for this Stabila.....considerably more expensive but well worth the money. Digital readout is clear and surprisingly useful. And the auidable alert when you are level is really handy when you can't get straight on look at the bubble.

I've been after one of these for ages but price tag put me off so I bought the cheaper and vastly inferior Stanley digital level. After a few days with the Stanley I found it highly inaccurate and a real pain to use so I took the plunge and bought the Stabila. It's a fantastic product and oozes quality. It's accurate and makes my life so much easier when working alone with its audible beep.

If you need an accurate digital level I believe you will not find better than this level. The bubble is spot on so there will probably be no need to calibrate. Yes you pay a bit more than other digital levels ,but you definitely get what you have paid for. An excellent reliable level.

Should have bought this ages ago but thought it was too expensive. It’s expensive but worth every penny for kitchen fitters especially older ones like me. Has made my life a lot easier fantastic bit of quality kit ??

17.2.2020

Expensive however so worth it for levelling kitchen units etc.If you have OCD beware this thing will feed it as you will strive endlessly to get 100% accuracy something a bubble never truly gives.

13.1.2019

Excellent for precision work , handy to light up in dark places. Another brilliant idea is it can bleep when it's level so you don't need to be in a position to see it when levelling a unit.

28.2.2020

They are pricey but you get what you pay for with stabila. I have a few stabila levels now and an r type one. This is only used for levering base units and saves me a lot of messing around.

2.2.2018

I bought a fat max which was very poor accuracy and returned. Bought the stabila which was much more expensive but top notch. Robust and accurate with easy calibration.
