I bought this mainly for the extra pieces and case to store the kenetic sand in fron this and other kenetic sand i bought separately. It's an awesome storage case and sand doesn't leak out of it when not in use. My two children play really nicely together with this as each one uses seperate sides of the case to play with the sand. This toy is a no fail child pleaser and my children love playing with this toy so much.. probally one of their favourites. I would suggest putting a large matt down underneath the case when in use, as when they do play with this, it can get all around the outside of the case.. then it's easier to gather up after they've finished playing, to use again instead of it being lost and waisted..

I was surprised just how good this has actually been. The sand is very clever, you can mould it but it still runs through your fingers and it only sticks to itself and doesn’t seem to dry out. It doesn’t stick to your hands, and can be picked up easily from the carpet by rolling it into a ball, which can then be reused, leaving no mess.The box is standing up well, and is a good way of containing the sand, catches are robust and it opens up into a good area to play on. The hinge in the middle of the box is good as it doesn’t allow any sand through when the box is folded away.A good strong set of tools and moulds supplied, the photo is a bit misleading as you only get a fraction of the sand shown,

Bought this for my 2.8 year old. It is one of few toys that keeps her entertained for more than 10 minutes. I initially made the mistake of putting it on the floor, she put it everywhere and sat in it and it stuck to her clothes and skin and was annoying to remove. Now she plays with it at the kitchen counter and there’s a lot less mess. A lot of reviews say there’s not enough sand, this is true if you have an older child who really wants to build things. For a younger child the amount of sand is perfect.

I love this stuff, it's so weird how it works, sticks together but then hold it in your hand and it pours!!!!!! genius design.... My kids love it, they pour it over their dolls and it doesn't get stuck inside them, it drops on the floor in clumps and you can pick it up. So fab. We put ours into a plastic bag after every use but it states that it never dries out. I will update this at a later date as we've just had it at Christmas, but so far great and a good price too

Sick of picking kinetic sand out from the carpets, I bought this to control the carnage. What a success! It’s a great size, sturdy and very robust. It comes with a decent amount of sand in to get started with but I’d highly recommend buying more if you want to make more impressive structures, as the case does look quite bare with just the sand included. It’s keeps my 3 year old entertained for ages and keeps my floors clean. A winner all around then!

Got this set for my sons Christmas, he is autistic and has quite high sensory needs. He loves it. His sisters love it too so this usually ends up in fights as it’s ‘his’. It’s easy to clean up. Having the tray it’s in is brilliant, just closes over and clips. I bought extra sand at Christmas and I’ve not even had to open it yet as there’s still plenty left (my kids make some mess) really impressed with this set. Would buy again.

I bought this to use in my work with children. I already have kinetic sand so needed storage space so not having enough sand was no a problem. Great size when opened up for play. Two practical issues which, if improved, would make this a brilliant buy: the sand falls through the hinges so the need to sweep up and it has no carry handle which would make it easier to carry. Other than that, a great item.

After reading other reviews I was a bit dubious about how much sand I would get but honestly if you "air" out the sand while playing you can cover both sides and still have enough to build with. We bought an extra bag just in case but the sand was different so we have 2 different sets to play with now.Lovely sturdy case, sturdy tools and soft sand!Good price and lots of fun for my 1 year old.

This is great for storing your kinetic sand in, although you will need to buy more sand separately if you don't already have it as it only comes with a small bag. It's great for my son to play with and I don't have to worry about mess or storing the sand. It doesn't have a handle for carrying around which I think would've made sense but other than that I have no complaints.

Bought 2, one for each child to stop the rows (learnt the hard way over kinetic rock!). There great, boxes keep the sand vaguely contained and each has their own designated play space. Clearing away is quick and easy with a quick sweep of any escaped sand.Only looses a star because for the price there really should be more sand in the box to be able to really create.

Great for storing kinetic sand, nice large box with plenty of room to play.As recommended by some other reviewers I bought an extra bag of sand but there is enough supplied to play on one side of the box. 2 could play with this together and have a side each.The sand is lovely to play with.Definitely recommend if you play with the sand frequently.

Definitely not enough sand in box to create the scene on the packaging, even when "aired out" for 24hrs so will have to buy extra bags of kinetic sand. In essence you are paying over 20quid for a plastic box, a bit of sand and a few plastic moulds. I don't believe it is worth the price it is marked at especially having to pay for extra kinetic sand.

Brought this for my 2 year old, she absolutely loves it! I did purchase an extra bag of sand to go with it. The two sands were a little slightly different but once mixed together, you don't notice. Nice little accessories with it too and so easy to clean up, not messy at all. A very happy little lady. Would definitely recommend this product :)

Great fun product that isn’t messy as all the sand sticks together and plenty of shapes included with it in the box to use to build things with. My 3 year old son loves playing with it. Would say that the picture makes it looks like there is more sand included than there is, but still quite a decent amount to build lots of castles with.

My daughter just love Kinetic sand and we bought this as she's got a lot now it comes with a big bag of Kinetic Sand, moulders and we have got a sandbox now where we keep all her sand. We put our Kinetic Sand in a sealed bag and it doesn't dry out or gets hard. Overall happy with my purchase. Great delivery too.
