Spiderman 3 is a very good game. I have the collector's edition and at £15 more is not worth it, because even though you can be the New Goblin, when playing as him you cannot: do any damage to cars or the environment, 2 weapons : sword and two pumpkin bomb attacks, only one mission (which is against big sandman and very short and the only other things you can do with him is 10 races through hoops! Anyway back to the main part of the game! The graphics in this game are very good (and you can see inside some windows on the buildings too!)The animation is good (but the cutscenes look PS2ish) and so is the sound!It is quite long because after you complete spiderman's game you unlock black spiderman which you redo the whole of red spidey's game only this time playing as the much more stronger black spiderman! By the way you can go into around 20 buildings, you can go into the sewers and subway aswell!New york it highly detailed to look like the real thing because times square and every thing is in the right place as in real life and is the right shape and proportion! The bad news is that you cannot destroy or even leave a mark on the cars and environment as red or black spiderman! It also lack's a tiny bit of variety but this is overshawdowed by the fact YOU CAN ACTUALLY SWIM(although it definitaly gets boring after a while!)! Overall excellent game i have played each version on every console except psp (by the way what's happened to it) and found the ps3 game had the best graphics and was the longest game to play. Very enjoyable game, my verdict a good spiderman game (especially if you liked ultimate spiderman for ps2!) but couldv'e had more varied gameplay!

Being able to web around the city, and climb to the top of the biggest buildings has it's feeling of freedom. It's great and New York does look quite spectacular, however there are some small factors to take into consideration before you buy this game.Firstly, the repetative combat sytem. Fair enough you unlock new moves as your progress through the game, but it always feels as though you are button mashing and doing anything random to basically win the fight, often of which are the same kind of battles over and over. Yeah it's fun, but it gets samey. Also the character graphics, say when peter parker goes civvy are choppy and not very cool looking for a next gen console at all.The final thing is the boss battles,most of them are easy and involve button pressing at the right time, it's cool but it's taking it out of our hands and milk feeding us the action, however some of them are ridiculously hard, and you can spend up to 30 minutes jumping and pressing square and triangle frantically before his life is even half down. I'm talking about the kingpin.Dont get me wrong spider man is good, it looks and feels amazing, and is cool the way you can change your suit, however overly hard bosses, milk feeding and repetative combat are all annoying factors which put a downer on the game itself.

This game is far the best spiderman game ever. i know that the game can be a little short at times and the graphics are not the best but the gameplay is great.The area has been extended and the black suit is incredible.a new photo mode has been added for the daily bugle assignments were a subject is given to you such as 'giant lizards' in cebtral park and parker tells you when you are the right distance to take a photo.the black suit is awsome you can switch to it from normal spidey at any time aslong as the time limit has been surpased.when in black spidermans powers become stronger and a whole new set of moves become availible....but at a price.If you were the suit for to long peter will pass out and to take it of you will need to hit a combination of button presses which start from two and start to grow.if u loved the second spiderman game you will love this one!!!!!!

This game is ok. The controlles are not the best but accepteble. The story is also so-so. It's game play is good but they could realy improve it. Such as the jumping, camera, combat. Like in combat when somone hits you it stops you from moving. Or when your climbing the walls, when your on a corner the camera spins out of control and you can't see where you are. But not all of it is bad. Its fun to beat up the badguys every now and then. The game is very easy to complete. But in the end of the day, the game is Ok. And if how grafical it is, I think if you son or daughter is mater enough, they could probably play it at the age of 10.

I have always liked the spiderman series and still do, this serves it well,my favourite thing is swinging around the city which is really smooth and relaxing.The graphics are great and the cutscenes are fantastic!You have quite a lot to do because of the four gangs that try to take over the city.I got through the game quite easily on the easier mode but i'm trying the harder settings.Using the black suit is pretty neat and the story is pretty good, although, the combat is quite unspecific, but the combos and upgrades are really cool.So, in a short and hurried review I would definitely recommend.

This game is so cool because you fight with the touch screen and you really get the feeling that you are spiderman. The graphics are 3D but it is 2D gameplay. It is the first spiderman game with animated cut scenes and voice acting wich you hear quit a lot.The music can be anoying sometimes though. You can also roam about New York city and it's huge! It is an easy game but some missions are tough! Later on in the game you become venom and he is stronger and faster. You get to fight all the bosses you see in the movie and the lizard. A great game. Do me a favour and get it quickly!

Granted, there are good and bad points about this game. The storyline isn't great and, if you hadn't seen the film you may just think people like the Sandman were some run of the mill villain, without too much background. However, if it's just fun you're looking for, then this is a good buy. The swinging is as fun as ever and the addition of the black suit is awsum and, dispite this not being next gen, the game does maintain pretty good graphics. Nice.

The graphics aren't that great but still next-gen, the game itself though is very good there are a lot of missions. I have the collector's edition version which I will be selling soon for £35.00 - £40.00 soon on Amazon marketplace look out for it, just like new and it's £50.00 in store at GAME and with that you can even fly around as the new goblin using the sixaxis, if you like spider-man get this game.

I bought this for my 7 year old son but didn't realise there was a 12+ age recommendation on it. I would definitely be more aware of the age thing the next time. He will grow into it and he loves it but doesn't really understand what he has to do.My 9 year old nephew had a shot and admitted that even he found it hard. It's a great game but much better for over 12's.

I was so disappointed when i heard tht this game had been put back to 18th may so i bought the ps2 version, the ps3 version arrived today and there is so much difference between them u get similar stories but thts it overall the ps3 version is so much better and treyarch have done an amazing job with this game here hoping there is another movie to base a game on

If you have a PS2 this is a must by game for you. I have played this on both the Xbox 360 and now the PS2 and I think this version is better. It's also good because it's not so hard like other spiderman games, but the lenth is still quite long. The part I like is the option of wearing the black suit, this makes you stronger. 10/10 game.Thanks For ReadingBrian

I ordered this game at first and unfortunately it got lost in the post , so i contacted Joseph gaming and they gave me a re-order as soon as possible. The game then arrived in the next three days which was great. I really like this game because it’s so cool and epic and i never get bored of it

It is a awsame and fun when I orded the game it came erlier then the date it came in good codistion and your are on the streets of london so cool I think this game is the best spiderman game ever

This was a replacement for my grandson, the first was left out of the case and got scratched and became unplayable so he gets his game back and i get grandfather brownie points.
