Bought this card as an upgrade memory stick to my Sony HD Camcorder.I have been using a 16GB card now for the past 12 months and using this size card with full feature HD1080P recording gives just over an hours worth of usage before you get the low memory message. This 32GB card should now give me over 2 hours worth of recording time with my 16GB card as a great backup in case of need.Let's face it we all over-shoot video and this card will allow even more over shoot to be taken then edited down when I get back home to probably 20 minutes worth of viable holiday footage. The card also allows about a full years worth of dip in dip out footage. You know the type of thing, a good holiday abroad,15 min at the BBQ in the summer followed by a birthday or two, then Christmas and some snow scenes in the garden, perhaps a weekend away in Europe followed by the spring flowers in the back garden and back to summer with perhaps some footage of the grandchildren or other kids in between. Transfer of footage once a year - great!Hope this helped.Regards.Colin.

Reformatting yielded 113MB/s Write and 241 MB/s Read. Started out of the package pre-formatted to ExFat yielding only 70 MB/s Write and 90 MB/s Read and a bit glitchy to mount, unmount. So I performed a single reformat on macOS Catalina 10.15.3 using Disc Utility to ExFat and it then mounted instantly and yielded near published speeds, for me those being 113MB/s Write and 241 MB/s Read as tested with AJA System Test Lite through a MacBook Pro running macOS Catalina 10.15.3 USC-C 3.1 direct connection to a Satechi Type-C Aluminum UHS-II Micro/SD Card Reader Adapter. Real-world testing using a 39.62GB collection of 2,217 phots and video clips yielded 89.2MB/s Write and 215.3 MB/s Read speeds with no slowdown at either end of the copy to/from process.Source drive for the copy to/from was a MacBook Pro USC-C 3.1 direct connection to a SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD 2 TB that itself yields AJA System Test Lite results of 453MB/s Write and 499 MB/s Read speeds.

Works perfectly with PSP 1000, and I would assume with later PSP versions as well (apart from Vita of course).I have no idea the exact read/write speeds via PSP, as I can not be bothered to properly check, but the card is definitely much faster than the microSD +Memory Card Adapter, I have been using until now. That's about it really, works like a dream and huge amount of storage for your trust PSP.Oh, the only quirk I found, is that when I first plugged the card into my PSP, the PSP recognized it ok, but wouldn't allow me to format the card. All I did was connect my PSP to my computer, dropped a random file onto the card, then went back to the PSP settings and was able to format the card.Weird little foible...but then life is rather dull without them.

Even though the PSP is an ageing handheld console these dates, I still find I love picking it up once in a while and playing various classic games. I decided to purchase this card because I like to dump UMD games as ISO's (which I legally own) which can often range in the 1.5 GB mark. This card makes it perfect to store loads of games without having to use UMD's and be able to store loads of games at the same time on the memory card.As expected the card is genuine (PSP shows MagicGate status as Supported) and works fine in a PSP 3000. It might a tad expensive as the card is generally for digital camera use, but the capacity is the major reason why I purchased it.

Wonderful 'solid' feeling storage card and can transfer data at 50MB per second apparently - i've no idea if this is good or not, but i've been lucky enough to be given a Sony Cybershot camera for Christmas and that's 16 Mega pixels with 16 x optical zoom and the card can cope with 'burst' photography (i.e. the camera takes 20 shots in rapid succession for fast moving subjects) and it copes with that easily. Also the camera tells me that the card has room for 1409 photographs (!) so Unless you alter the settings for the very highest resolution, you'd be very hard pushed to fill the card. Nice, solid and performs well.

Bought this as the recommended card to support the high frames per second shooting rate of my new Sony SLT camera. I had just been using the SDHC (class 4, I think) of my previous camera and was frustrated with how slow that was, but, to be honest, I wasn't expecting this to be all that much faster. By comparison this turned out to be blisteringly fast. Where the old card took nearly a full minute to clear a full buffer, this card is finished within about 5 - 10 seconds, and handles normal (ie single shots, or a short burst that don't fill the buffer) with virtually no delay at all. Expensive, but justified.

The advertised speeds on this card are Write-120MB/s and Read-270MBN/s. As soon as the parcel arrived I decided to test the speeds on this card on my MBP 15 with thunderbolt using a very good card reader. The write speed is decently close to the advertised speed but read speed is nowhere near what it should be, hence only 4 stars. Screenshot of speeds attached.I will use this card with my Lumix G9 and its newly upgraded video features. I took the plunge and bought this card on Cyber Monday as my January vacation is approaching fast.Card was 67 quid for 128GB, I guess it is ok price.

Got this for my partners' video camera - replacing the original card that was slow and small in capacity. We are happy with the read and write speeds. Best to purchase directly from Amazon because you assured to get a genuine product, and in the rare instance that there may be a problem, Amazon is easy to work with unlike some third party sellers . When installed you will not get the full 16Gb from the card - but that is to be expected, so please bear this mind.On the face of it .All in all we are pretty happy with this newer version of card from Sony.

The card arrived the day after purchasing and was packaged well, well protected without using too much wasteful packaging. So far it's working smoothly and I'm really happy with the product. I find Sony memory cards the most reliable of the brands (having used different ones over the years) and this is a substantial card, not flimsy or fiddly. Fits perfectly in my camera and no complaints. Fuss and hassle free :-) I'd happily buy this item again and recommend the service.

Given as a gift to a friend for her Sony H20 camera. She is delighted with it - she reports that it works perfectly, and is capable of storing thousands of photos, and a good few videos, giving her camera a completely new lease of life.No more scrabbling about, deleting photos so there is room to add more. No, this card is (so far) a "bottomless pit" of photostorage. She has been using it for 4 months without any problems at all, it is simply part of the camera.

Having recently bought a Sony Handycam for Paranormal Investigations I wanted one of these as they are the base-line memory card for them. Although my camcorder has a built in 120gb hard drive I wanted piece of mind on footage transference.I have used one of these cards in the past (a SanDisk version) on my laptop purely for document back-ups and found it quick read and write capable.Always said Sony are the top in most things and will always stand by this.

The 8GB card stores around 5000 photos. I tend to keep the photos on the card even though I upload the photos regularly. This was all correctly packaged (official product) and I hope it will last. It is a replacement for a previous Sony flash card also from Amazon which became corrupted after 6 months of normal use (thankfully I had uploaded most of the photos so only lost a dozen). Glad Amazon still stock these.

Purchased this card for my Playstation Portable, for a high amount of games, videos and photos with the 32Gb memory stick. It reads all the programs fast and smooth you can have over 35 games and 3x series. The best purchase i have done for memory cards.I like everything about the card, the high amount of data storage. The fast Reading and Writing speed. And everything for a totally okay price.

These cards are very good and are suitable for fast access as required by video storage. I have had no problems with this card at all in a number of different Sony video camcorders and they seem reliable and quick. oNLY PROBLEM IS THAT THESE ARE NOT THE CHEAPEST. tHIS IS NOT SO GOOD AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE BUT, AFTERWARDS WHEN IN A RUSH AND UNDER PRESSURE THEY ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY!!

I have bought a few (30+) of these cards over the years and every one has proven very reliable, of course they are mainly for Sony products, I have used them in the PSP and various Sony cameras and video cameras. The main thing with them now is that they are at a more competitive price compared with the same or similar spec standard SD card.Nothing much more to say really... :-)
