The other review for this product is inaccurate and asks too much for something that, really, is an extra lens for £500. The autofocus is slightly slower, we are talking maximum half second, however, you have to take into consideration that you lose three stops of light so it will never be just as fast as the lens on its own. It has never negatively affected my work. The quality of the images are still stunning and suffers no warping and one would have to shoot uncompressed and edit it heavily and zoom in far on a high quality screen to see a difference. The durability is fantastic and is made with the same materials as the lens and I have never had a problem with the look or feel of it.

Naturally, this reduces your aperture by half, so using this adapter with a 400mm/f5.6, you’re at 800mm/f11. Great picture quality, just as sharp as photos taken without it.
