this is a really pleasing instrument. It is not too big, you can keep it on your desk for stress relief. I suppose if I was being very picky it comes with two marbles as we as the drumstIck so you would not be able to give it directly to a small child to unwrap but that's no great problem. I'm autistic and collect sensory toys, this is perfect, I wish I had one as a child.

I just love this instrument. We have larger ones at my school and we call them swirl xylos; they have always been one of my favourites. I saw this when I was looking for a wooden drum for my grandson and thought he would love it too.Such a cool sound and the wooden ball and glass marble are a bonus.

This was meant to be our son's present, however due to the noise, its unique shape and the fun in using it. Its become my desk toy. If you want something a bit different at an awesome price, this works on many levels, as a wooden ornament, as a musical device and also as a childs toy, too.
