I don't know how folks can deal with the type you touch to open. My hand are always full in the kitchen, so the step pedal is a must. These are a dream to use They clean easily (they don't get fingerprints - magic!), the lid can stay open when you're using it a lot, it's easy to remove and replace bag owing to the feature that can hold the inner bin at an angle for you, and they look beautiful. Worth every dime. You'll have it forever.

Love that when you are cooking you don't have to touch the bin with foody fingers and there are no unsightly fingerprints. The slow descent of the lid is great as you don't jump out of your skin every time you use it. Used simplehuman for years great product and very good customer service Thankyou, ps you would have to go a long way to find the quality of the bin liners.

Pros: Simple, elegant design; easy to change bag; doesn't slide around when pedal pressed; can lift lid manually to keep bin open; feels well made; lid closes silently.Cons: Slightly fiddly to hide bag using 'bag tuck', but easier than any other bin I've usedCaveats: Only had it for 2 weeks, so can't comment on durability

Amazing - easy to clean, easy to remove bags couldn’t ask for anything more. Well built so hopefully will last ages. At £45 feel it was a really good price and value for money (sure it will last twice as long at a £20 bin, more practical and looks great)

So far this appears to be a well made pedal bin with a sturdy mechanism and a nice soft close lid. It really does need the simple human bin bags as using anything else just doesn't fit that nicely. The outside finish is easy to clean too

I love this bin. It looks fab and is touch free. It's easy to use and clean. Only downside is it's expensive but hopefully will last for years.

I really like my new bin. It looks stylish and feels good quality. A bit pricey but I can't mark it down for that as you get what you pay for.

High quality and sturdy bin. I love the soft close lid and the excellent finish makes it easy to clean. Neat and attractive appearance

its durable and fairly size so it doent look like an overgrown miniture aircraft... a classic kitchen bin.
