Did some research on an ideal ITX case, which is not expensive, as some of the new crop of sandwich type cases seem to be. Components I installed are,Asrock Z390 gaming acI7-8700K16gb DDR 4000 steel viperCorsair 600 psuCorsair H80I cpu coolerGTX 1070 evgaAll the components fitted well, just had to re-orientate the cpu cooler twice to fit under the power supply ( make sure you use the silverstone psu bracket, its positioned higher than some others ) . I left the IO bracket out for better airflow. Really impressed with the thermals, was not expecting to overclock. The corsair ICue fan setting software has quiet, balanced and fast.Heres the results on a 5.0ghz overclock with LLC level2 and -90mmvolt offsett and using Aida64 extreme software for 30 minutes.Quiet setting on idle - cpu31 - vrms41 - fan930 revs - vcore0.64Quiet setting on max - cpu78 - vrms49 - fan1280 revs - vcore1.248Balanced setting on idle - cpu28 - vrms41 - fan1270 revs - vcore0.64Balanced setting on max - cpu73 - vrms46 - fan1890 revs - vcore1.268I have been using the quiet setting and for a few weeks for gaming and its brilliant, no thermal issues whatsoever. much quieter than expected. If you decide to use the balanced setting, might be better to use a notctua fan.Ps . the results are with the outside case lid fitted !.Hope this helps.

This case is a bargain for Mini ITX builds, but space is definitely at a premium. Not because of its size - you can get cases much smaller than this again that can hold the same amount of stuff - just that the layout isn’t the best.Even though I picked up a SFX-L PSU (I wanted the bigger, quieter fan) there’s really not a lot of room in there to use a stock cooler and it definitely impacts performance. Will chuck a Noctua in there soon.Similarly, I thought I’d clear a Sapphire Nitro+ OC RX580 in there, but it was TIGHT. Like real tight. I thought I’d bent my motherboard getting it in. GPU should probably not go in last if it’s pushing the limits on size. There’s oddly a lot of ‘dead’ space behind the front fan and PSU/MoBo and that’s where a lot of the cables can get dumped.I’ve recently opened it up to add a SDD and took the opportunity to clean up the cabling to help thermals. All in all, great case. Would be amazing if you could pop off some of the frame to access bits and pieces, but it’s all riveted in. But for £40, you can’t expect miracles!

I wanted to downsize my huge tower to something smaller and opted for this as all of my current components would fit in there, minus the MotherboardCurrently sitting in the little case is:AMD Ryzen 5 1600 overclocked to 3.7GHz using a disused AMD Wraith Stealth cooler.MSI Ventus RTX 2050 6GB16GB DDR4 RamWD Green SATA m.2 SSD6TB Seagate 3.5" HDD.500W PSU.120mm Fan in front.Everything fit fine but the only thing I wish I did have was a modular PSU. Temperatures are good all round and being able to get away with the Wraith Stealth under the PSU was good.Fully assembled the case is solid and not a bad looker but I will see how the front intake vent deals with dust over time.Excellent case for an ITX novice (like me)and you might get away with putting your bigger system in one of these with a simple motherboard change.I've used other Silverstone products and once again, they haven't let me down.

Awesome case which will fit in a top of the line system, just be careful with your choice of graphics card as it took some finagling to get in a 10.5" GTX 1070, it definitely wouldn't fit in anything longer. If you want to attach a handle you should be able to do it although it would only fit along the width rather than along the length due to the PSU vent. I'm running my system air cooled and the temps are perfectly fine, I'm using a SIlverstone AR06 with the fan reversed and have the PSU mounted so it exhausts air from the system and it runs 10-15C cooler than the fan and PSU in the normal directions although even in the hotter configuration the temps were manageable.I'd also recommend getting a fully modular PSU with shorter cables if you can afford the extra, and if you can get an SFX PSU instead of ATX that would also be slightly better but it's totally fine without.

Nicely designed for the small form factor system or htpc and the best part is that a power supply is included.there is room for two 2.5”hard drives and a 3.5”you could add two more 2.5” drives if you don’t use the bay for a slim dvd/cd drive. My Asus B250I Gaming board fits like a glove I just over did it with the larger heat sink and had to change the top fan that is 31mm deep to a Cryorig XT140 Thin Profile 13mm.There is a on/off power switch on the power supply in the case that can be missed and leave you thinking there’s a fault.

I've always been interested in Mini-ITX cases ever since I started watching Linus Tech Tips and Bitwit. I saw this case recommended by them and many other reviewers and thought of buying it. I think it's a really neat and low volume case that still manages to fit a full sized GPU but there IS clearance issue with the stock cooler that comes with the AMD Ryzen 7 2700 I bought (which was the wraith spire cooler)Other than that, the case is what I expected and I love it! I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to build a Mini-ITX build.

I wanted this because right now I'm using a tower and it's too big, I like more compact. I haven't put it together yet as I'm getting a motherboard for this at Christmas but have installed a front fan which was easy. The only thing which is a little pain is getting the cover off and on it's not so easy, you have to lift up rather than pull I found. Compared to my tower this is small! and would fit on my desk easy and you could even call this portable.

I've so far built three computers using this chassis and unconditionally recommend it if you are comfortable with the limitations of mini ITX. If I may suggest, when selecting a graphics card choose one with a 'blower' style cooler which vents its exhaust heat out of the case and sping for an all-in-one CPU water cooler such as a Seidon 120, Corsair H55, H60, etc. Fit the watercooler at the front with the fan drawing air into the case.

Lovely little case. Fiddly to put together a build but something this small that takes a standard PSU and standard disks is going to be. Will take 1 3.5" HDD or 2 2.5" disks. Runs a bit hot with a standard cpu fan so probably best to use an all-in-one liquid cpu cooler if you are likely to use the build under load for any amount of time. I didn't bother as I won't be.

Upgraded my ITX PC recently and went for the same case, albeit the updated version with USB3.0 at the front and no power supply included. Find this case excellent and even though its really small you can pack quite a lot inside it.

1.3.2020

Excellent little case can fit most stuffIf using ATX PSU I would Recommend getting a Water cooler with a 120mm fan Because it would affect airflow and cooler choice But I would Recommend as it’s footprint is quite small

Managed to fit a GTX 1070 mini and a full size PSU into this, with a ryzen 3 processor. Note that only a few cm are left between the PSU and the CPU cooler in this scenario, but the temps have not been a problem.

26.1.2020

It's a great little itx shoebox. best itx airflow case but get an sfx psu as even though this case fits a standard atx psu the clearance that an sfx one provides gives so much more cpu cooler clearance choices.

5.8.2017

Great little case, fits 2 hard drives, a ssd and mechanical 2TB, be careful of the front usb 3 cable, once connected to motherboard, its tight!! removing could rip the pins out of the board.

This case is awesome, I love it. Be careful about parts compatibility however, and I wouldn't recommend it for you first PC or if you're not fairly confident with PC building.
