This is the only truly great and memorable present my 6-year-old son received this Christmas (and he received a ton of stuff as kids do these days). A really well-made toy that is reassuringly heavy and solid compared to your Transformers and other modern-day tat, the Robo Chameleon is also highly original - it moves around via a remote control and wags its tail, changes colour and, best of all, it has a mechanical tongue that shoots out and picks up small discs that come with it.Like some of the other reviewers, we experienced the stuck tongue fault within a few minutes' use. But it IS fixable, at least it was in our case. We pushed the tongue quite firmly towards the mouth and it snapped shut - and it's worked fine ever since.A great toy.

I'm writing this review to help. We brought our son this for Christmas, and as reported by alot of reviews the tongue got stuck in the out position. Switch off. With a little pressure, press on the top of the head. A little click will be heard. Then switch on. The robo chameleon is now back in action. Hope it helps.

Bought for a friend's daughters birthday not able to use on the day given as couldn't source the 6v batteries required but found all other batteries easily - be aware this toy take a LOT of batteries. Delivery quick & good.

Great fun - thought it may of been to young for my 8yr old but he played with it and laughed for hours. If it’s short lived it was worth every penny for those few days!! Really sturdy, robust and cute product!!

My little one loves this, brilliant as a first remote control toy and has brought many giggles. We bought on offer so felt it was value for money too. Just beware the little disks he eats are tiny :-/

Bought as a Christmas present. Was expecting to be disappointed, but it was what my little boy really wanted. I was pleasantly surprised, & my 5 year old loves it. Several adults have even had a go!

Bought this for my 8 year old son for Christmas after he seen the TV ad for it, its much bigger than I expected and great price, looks fab cant wait to see my sons face on Christmas morning!

The first one I received was returned as it kept shutting itself down all the time i’m on my second one now that seems to be better so far but was good fun while it was working kids loved it

Got this for my nephew as a birthday present and he absolutely loves it. Really easy to put together an use. Love the lights which change and the tongue shoots out to catch the magnets.

Absolutely fantastic. My 4 year old loves playing with this, remote control is great, it changes colours and the eyes go round and also picks up the discs with its tongue. Excellent.

Wasn't sure what to get my grandson for his birthday as there was nothing he wanted so when I saw this I had to get it wonderfull choice the whole family wanted to play with it

I brought as a Christmas present for my 3 year old great nephew an he loved it so loves pulling at the tongue so needs to be watched with it but the adults had fun with it too

my son really wanted this so when he got it played for hours easy to use, fun controls great, colour changing, but then grew bored and has been in his cupboard ever since

Bought for our 6 year old for Christmas and she’s very happy. Still playing with it in January! I’d read reviews about the tongue breaking but, so far, our has been fine!

Easy to use, children loved it. They've had a few variations of these sort of toys including far more expensive ones such as dinosaurs but this is by far the best one
