The first question was how much fun? Lots and lots but I'll go into that later. The second question was educational value, butr lets be honest this is a pub game!!! So the review. Arrived promptly, good value for money. Its not going to sit on my coffee table, but as a means to an end its brilliant. It was bought as a 'drinking game' with the first person yunable to knock down the counters according to the roll of the dice having to do a forfeit drink!!! ANd as that its great. Would make a fabulous ice breaker at a dinner party as long as you didn't go to crazy!!! Is exellent on a stag do!!! Have board will travel, and definitely will drink!! Buy it, its good value for money,

This game has been around for decades and possibly a century plus. Great game. I bought it for my step dad who has dementia, to help keep the mind active and the fingers moving. Although this is a four player set up, he has got into the habit of playing by himself , which is a good thing. It's a nice size, Not heavy, making it easy for him to pick up and move around, the numbers are fluid and not sticky. Recommended for mild/moderate dementia mind exercises and games.

We bought this game for two granddaughters while we are in lockdown and cannot visit. They were happy to get it and said it is very nicely made. Sadly, it does not seem to have held their attention. When the lockdown lifts, perhaps they can bring it with them on a visit and we may all get to enjoy it. We have fingers and toes crossed that, perhaps, their interest will be rekindled. It arrived in good time and does not seem to have had excessive packaging.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my brother. We used to live in a pub and played this regularly so it broought back fond memories. I was delighted with the product which came well packed in a cardboard box - great protection whilst traveling. The wooden box is far better quality than expected given the very reasonable price. Really fast delivery and Ihave no hesitation in recommending both the seller and the product.

I bought this for my grandson's 7th birthday then thought that maybe he would not be thrilled so bought him a wind-up torch as well. He loved the torch but when he opened the game his eyes just lit up and he said that one of his friends has this game and it is great! He and his older brother and sister started playing at once then Dad had a go. All in all, a great success for all the family. Highly recommended!

I heard about this game about 5 yrs ago and meant to buy it for my daughter, so when my twin boys started school, I thought this would be great for them to learn maths through play. Both love the game and it's really easy for them to play by themselves. There is a bit of competition between them and they're learning without even knowing it. Very simple idea, but very effective.

Sturdy game for lots of use. Do wish it had a lid to keep the dice from getting lost, but my main disappointment, (hence the 4 stars) was that the retaining bar under the number tabs was glued in place on a slant, and not straight, making it look slightly tacky. If I had been able to see before I bought, I would have chosen one with the bar in the right place.

Bought for my niece (age 6) after playing the game with friends children (ages 5 and 8). Quick rounds, builds mental arithmetic skills and fun to play due to its competitive nature. Works on multiple levels, allowing adults and children to enjoy participating in the process. Compact enough to transport when staying away from home.

A brilliant game for old and young alike. My children's maths skills have improved no end with this game; we all love it. It is very competative and really gets the brain working.....even my Mum who has Altzheimers benefits from using it....!! The smaller travel version is good because you can take it anywhere with you.

Best little family board game. Quick rounds, teaches kids to think, be decisive and add quickly in their head. We all absolutely love this game.Went looking for this game as I have fond memories of playing it in Brussels it was popular there in the bars. Great quality board and dice, no frills but that's the charm.

This game was recommended by a private maths tutor as a good aid for young children in early years of school to help with their progression.It certainly does that and would recommend this to all and sundry. Brilliant aid to help children with number recognition, adding and mental arithmetic. Well worth the money!!

I can honestly say if you are stuck in lockdown and looking for a fun game that will literally give you hours of fun, get this. Old and young love this and you can have a quick couple of games or spend 3 hours. It really is excellent fun. This product is sturdy and good quality as well. Really recommend it.

Nice game :instruction on back of the box should been a rule book or leaflet, part from that fun game like wooded look feel. Fun game, value for money not much could come down abit, also nice have spare apartment for dice and spare dice as well for the price better instructions, overall good fun game.

Such a simple but great game. The kids and adults love it and I even got our 3 year old playing it and it was very good as a teaching aid. My only issue with it is it doesn’t have a lid so you can’t do the slamming shut of the box at the end which is half the fun of the game.

would have given this 5 stars but the wooden dice were missing from the set. It was a shame seeing as this was a birthday present. However, I have sent a message to the seller but am still waiting for a reply. Game is frustratingly addictive and annoyingly enjoyable.
