My sister gave me this game for Christmas and I had forgotten just how much fun it is. I have a younger sister who doesn't like to play any board, card, you name it games. She stayed with us for a week and was watching us play and gave it a go, she loves it. So we ordered this game and a smaller travel set for her, she is well hooked. It is such an easy game to learn, master and has some educational value as you have to add the scores from the tiles. I would recommend this game for any age group. ENJOY!

We have had to replace this game three times simply because as we replace one that a grandchild has taken home, having discovered the simple of joy of the game, so the next grandchild takes "their" newly discovered game home. My only comment would be the first version we purchased came in a box, but the two subsequent versions (from the same supplier) just came celophane wrapped, which means it's not so easy to keep the dice together.

My husband returned from a recent conference enthusing about a game the men had played in the pub. It turned out to be Shut the Box that I had played with the children at our Primary school. I ordered this game and it became an instant hit at our recent barbecue! Extremely simple but addictive! Great maths skills game, and my hubby and his friends even found a way to gamble with it - betting on the outcome! Great fun for all ages

Although educational my grandchildren aged just 5 have enjoyed playing with it, it has helped them with their numbers and given them confidence with understanding numbers too

Really made beautifully. My 4 year old loves playing and it is really helping him with maths before he starts school in Sep!! Great product and keen price.

good old fashion game for any age, keeps the brain going, and the kids love it, get it out on a winters night when there is nothing on the tv.

Very addictive game, made good presents for adults and children alike, will certainly buy more games like this. Did not cost too much money

Bought this to play with my Granddaughters and they LOVE IT. Good game to encourage them with their maths without them realising it.

Easy old fashioned game that we have hours playing on the dining room table. Its made of solid wooden construction.
