I bought this for my 2 year old as he loves posting things and was starting to learn colours. He does enjoy the game and likes to play it with the whole family and can also play it happily alone once it has been set up. You can play as a memory style game where you have a colour post box each and have to turn over the correct colour letter, or you can use as a sorting game. The pieces are made of thick sturdy card and are good quality. The game is easy to set up but also easy to accidentally knock over. It's a good tool for teaching colours, however, if you're looking for a game specifically for that purpose then I would recommend Red Dog Blue Dog, which is also made by orchard.

Another brilliant game from Orchard Toys. This one is very simple - post the letters through the right colour post box, or turn all the letters face down and take turns picking letters for your colour post box in a classic memory game. The game is designed for younger children of 2 plus and would probably suit some even younger children. My 2 and 4 year olds really enjoy it. An idea to raise the action is to place each post box in a corner of the room, give each player a pile of cards in the middle of the room, and have a race as to who can post them all first - my kids love this rowdier version!Only down side is the construction of the post boxes which fall over easily.

This is quite a simplistic educational game which means you can involve the very young in on any games you play with it. I got this for my son for Christmas as he has disabilities/autism so wanted to help improve some co-ordination/social. He loves it but all my other children have enjoyed joining in with it and although it is a bit limited for what you can do with it, they have made up other games. The quality is actually pretty good, thick card. The post boxes stand up well. I think it is value for money.

A lovely little game and my 2 year old plays it differently each time we get it out. The only issue is that assembly and steadiness of the post boxes. He likes nothing more than to pick them up to hold them when he posts his letter through, however each time the bases fall off and then we have to reassemble after every letter, for a 2 year olds game this is a silly silly over sight! Perhaps a different method of getting the post boxes to stand would make play a lot simpler and longer.

I have purchased many Orchard toys and games for grandchildren and have always been really pleased with them. They are sturdy and easy to handle for small fingers. It is particularly useful that they can be used in a variety of ways and at different levels to expand their use as the children get older. Parents even added exercise to this game by putting the post boxes in different locations so their two year old had to run and find them to post the letters!

A perfect educational toy for my 2 year old son. As soon as I set it up for him he understood that he had to match the letters to the postbox of the same colour. It's also a nice touch that the letters all have animals on this as he always looks for certain ones. I think this game will definitely help him remember his colours. My only complaint is the wee stands for the postboxes, one is already a bit bent so I'm scared of it breaking.

This is great for an almost 2 year old toddler who loves posting letters and a really good introductory colour matching game. I can't help but wonder if there could be a better design for the post boxes as they get knocked over very easily by boisterous children while playing however it's easy enough to fix and doesn't affect the overall enjoyment. One of the best a Orchard Toy games we own.

Great toy, have bought for my own child and then again for a gift. Simple game that really helps with colour recognition, motor skills and few wee extra details on the letters and post box to encourage conversation. My wee one loves this, can set it up around the downstairs to get him moving around. Handy game to travel with, and is good for toddler to play on own or with others.

Good idea to make a board game for a toddler. I find it quite annoying as its just made out of card and you have to put the pieces of card together before you play (sometimes fall apart) however my son who is 22 months old LOVES this game and always wants to play it. He loves posting the letters through the correct coloured postbox so I am giving this 5*

My little boy loves this game and plays with it everyday. Only problem with this is that the letter boxes come apart from their stands so easily that it happens during play and this frustrates my 2 year old and then me too because then I have to keep constantly putting them back together! Other than that slight design flaw, it's a great game.

Wonderful game to play indoors and outdoors. I used it yesterday and I placed the postbox all around the garden. My daughter loved writing to me collecting her letter and then running in finding the correct postbox. She’s asked to play the game again today, It’s really good because you can just sit down and the child can do the work.

A simple but terrific game for toddlers! My son loves colour matching games and was delighted with this one. He worked out the rules straight away to match the coloured envelopes with its corresponding postbox. It is also great for teaching little ones about turn taking, something that they quickly grasp.

Love this game and my son took to it immediately. Only issue is that the postboxes need to be propped up if not on a perfectly clear surface, and they fall apart of a child tries to pick them up! But otherwise a good little game, and a classic that i remember from my own childhood.

Was unsure as whether to buy this or not as pictures made postbox and letters look quite small. But I decided I'd risk it and I'm so glad I did they are lovely chunky great sized post box and letters. It arrived today and my 2 year old has spent ages playing with it already!

This is a well made cardboard game, very brightly coloured and attractive but definitely for younger toddlers. I bought it too late for my 3 year old and his posting obsession. But I wish we had had it much earlier 1st birthday present would have been ideal.
