The device comes in a box much larger than the device itself. The dongle measures approx 87x64x18mm. It comes with a shortish HDMI A-A lead and a 4.75V 0.55A Micro USB UK mains adaptor.Plug in the mains adaptor, connect the HDMI lead to your TV and wait for the red LED on the dongle to start flashing. At this point you should have a picture from the dongle on the TV. Press the reset button on the back of the dongle - the LED turns blue. Now in Settings->Wireless and networks->More settings on the S3 itself, enable AllShare Cast. The dongle should be detected. Just tap on it to connect, and hey presto the picture from the phone is cloned on the TV.One word of warning: if you are using a rooted phone then AllShare Cast will drop the connection when it tries to connect.

I should start by noting that I rate this a 4 to give the benefit of doubt to Samsung. Samsung has released an update to my GS3 which i guess should increase performance, but I haven't tried it yet for myself.In my experience of this device, it has provided as good an image quality as I had expected, I have no complaints in this regard.However, I am seeing some very mayor connectivity issues. Whenever I try to connect through allshare cast, it is a gamble wether it will connect immediately or I have to keep reconnection multiple times - and it is a gamble mostly going against my favour! I have also experienced disconnections after successfully establishing connection and not long into the session to boot.When connected the image quality is stellar and the overall performance quite good,

I have been using this hub for more than 2 months now for my both galaxy devices: the S3 phone and the 10.1 tablet. Once you have synced your devices you don't need to do anything else the next time you want to connect them, just turn on your allshare cast app!I'm playing GTA3 on it, watching youtube and movies, and listening to music without any problem or lagging at all!However, if you use the hub to Skype you will only see your video but not the other side video...and if you like to watch movies with subtitles, the subtitle wont show up...I have also noticed that if you tend to turn it on/off you might need to re-synch the device and that's way I keep mine on all the time...

Excellent product. Works flawlessly as expected on my note 3. Lip sync problem with netflix not an issue as plenty of free movie apps work without issues. Third part apps such as samsung tv media work really well with youtube and other apps. Gaming is smooth too if you use a joypad. People who are leaving bad reviews most probably dont have no real knowledge of such gagets. So dont read bad reviews and beleive them. If you dnt know how to use a product its not the products fault is it

i must say i didnt use this much when i initially bought it, but of late i have been using more and more of it. had a couple of hiccups when i didnt realise there was a patch to the software/app that works with this on the samsung galaxy s2. also noticed that all things internet related stop working when i connect this up. no more connectivity - dont know whats up with that but when it works it is great. a bit redundant though if you have a modern smart tv.

I bought the chrome cast first of all tried it what a waist of money took it back same day i then ordered the samsung allshare took me a while to figure it out because i never read the instrutions and being abit of a joey but once i figured it out it works a treat.just what i wanted i can now stream movies from the web without any need for wires from my computer.I urge you to try it out and give it a go 5 stars all the way from me.

I plugged it to the TV using the HDMI cable and the Samsung TV set recognised the item immediately. The product then started transmitting and my Samsung galaxy picked up the signal, I authenticated the connection and it was easy. Cant believe how straightforward it was. I now see everything which appears on my phone screen on my 60 inch TV in HD and stereo sound. Excellent product.

I have read many reviews about this product but I have to say I love it. It connects easy and just works as described. Ok you can only use it with samsung devices (but any hdmi monitor or tv) but not a problem for me as I have gallxy s3 and galaxy note 10.1 tablet. So for anyone who wants to stream from a phone or tab to a tv it is perfect

Good piece of kit but do be aware does not come with instructions and does not need an external power supply as takes power from USB connection. Have been using for awhile now drops out occasionally but just needs restarting. Will not run without major delay from Samsung S5 but runs well from Galaxy TAB4.

This is an awesome piece of kit that transfers all your apps to your tv, including BT Sport! Works well with YouTube too. Don't bother waiting on Chromecast as this does the job right now. Easy to set up and just as easy to use. Took the next day delivery option and sure enough, it arrived as promised.

I have tried so may different items to connect my Note 10.1 to the TV and have never got even close to it - Plugged this item in as requested and I was connected to the TV in less than 30 seconds - Still do not understand why we can not purchase items like thios through Samsung them selves?????

Produces a very clear image. This adapter works with my S3, S4 & Note 10.1. Ocassionally it can be a little temperamental, it can be difficult to connect to, and there are sometimes some glitches/stuttering in playback.

I have been using this little device for well over 3 years now and never had any issues with it .The mirror image is fast and high quality.Not cheap but if like me you like your Samsung gadgets then this is the one.

Got this product, so I can connect my Samsung tablet and my Samsung phone, love it hardly mo lag at all I watch movies I play games I go on YouTube, it's brilliant, the product is very good

It works brilliantly with my s4. No problem streaming and no switching on/off the dongle. Looks like it will be a massive box but just the size if credit card /large matchbox.
