i bought this for my boyfriend as a birthday present.i spent a while reading various reviews deciding which one to get.i decided on this as it looks attractive and although he's never done one of these i was fairly confident he'd solve it,(he's very good at taking things apart and putting them back together,he's also patient,methodical and determined)so i thought a difficulty level of 5 would challenge him and keep him nicely occupied for at least a few days.it arrived today,the quality is good,very sturdy.he was instantly hooked.he spent the first five minutes saying'it's not possible ,why hasn't it got any instructions'and then in the following ten minutes he'd solved it.so much for keeping

This is my fourth Hanamaya puzzle and as with the others they are really nicely made and even after you've finished them they still make nice talking points/objects.This has been the hardest of the ones I've had yet though. As with most of these puzzles, you really need to take the time to look carefully at it first to work out if anything stands out before trying something. I was aimlessly spinning the loop through the puzzle for ages getting nowhere fast, but the solution is annoyingly simple when you get it, but really hard to actually find without some thought.

This is great puzzle very tactile.just look at it first before moving parts around ...hours of fustration dont be fooled by 5 stars its worth a look....

My family love this puzzle havent cracked it yet but keep going back to it. So close!Very well made and lots of puzzles to choose from.

A beautifully and sturdily made puzzle which has so far defied being taken apart! No one wants to look at the answer though.
