It’s a terrific puzzle, really well made. Kept me quiet for ages. I didn’t expect something so well made these days would be so difficult to crack. The pieces have a slight difference in shape it’s hardly noticeable, however it makes all the difference when your trying to put it back togther again.With absolutely no idea, as to how theses puzzles are taken apart, it looks impossible even before you start, good luck!A few of these bad boys would keep several members of your family quiet over the holiday season.Really happy with my purchase.

This is a very different kind of puzzle, since you have absolutely no idea what's going on when you first see it. I.e. you need to carefully and thoroughly and systematically examine it and try to figure out what it looks like on the inside and how the different pieces fit together. The puzzle is visually beautiful, like most Hanayama puzzles, but this is actually one of the most beautiful. (One of the great features with Hanayama puzzles being that you can use many of them as home decoration.)

Bought for my father—a retired engineer. He persevered with it for days... then picked it up and cracked it in half and hour*! It has provided hours of enjoyment and fascination. Its beautifully engineered components are a joy to behold. Then there is the task of putting it back together again.Highly recommended, especially if you love the look and feel of a well-engineered puzzle.* He has since forgotten how he did it, so the mystery starts all over again!

Bought this for my brother who solves rubix cubes at terrifying speeds. He was sure he could figure this out in no time but it took him, and our dad, the better part of the day to get it open. Given My father is an engineer and my brother of a similar skill set I take it as proof this puzzle is brilliantly difficult and a fresh challenge for anyone who claims to be a pro at puzzle solving. Product is also highly durable and well packaged, kudos.

I liked this one. Very tactile and responsive it is an engaging fidget puzzle. I think this one is good to introduce people to cast puzzles as it rewards users early with parts moving in and out so it can help encourage the person to continue. If you like it I also reccomend the UFO and the Padlock, both very similar.Like all Cast puzzles from Hanayama this can be just as hard or even harder to put back together. Most find the latter.

"Oh yes our grandson Farquar completed this in 10 minutes at boarding school and found it very disappointing, but he is a child genius of course, well he would be you know, it runs in the family, grade 7 oboe at aged 6....." - WRONG - this is a challenging puzzle, yes it can be done once you visualise how the mechanism interlocks but it is very well designed and engineered and a great 'pick up and play' puzzle for visitors.

It took me less than 30 minutes to take apart and about 5 minutes to put it back together again. Robust, nice finish, doesn't need to be forced at all to take apart - everything slides / moves easily.Note: Buy the 'Eureka' branded one it's cheaper and it's exactly what you get anyway - and it says Huzzle on the box, not Eureka or Hanayama!Difficulty level 4 out of 6 according to the Eureka product info'

superior metal built quality smooth and shiny mirrored appearance. smooth and easy movement of puzzle pieces. took me about time to master it worth the look on others faces as you pass it to them and watch them make the same mistakes you did while trying to get it apart.a bit harder to put back together again at first looking forward to more like this one.

Bought this for my son-in-law for Christmas, it’s well made and kept him occupied for quite some time before he managed to take it apart , after about the same amount of time gave up and gave to me to try to put it back together! I did it in the end , I think it’s well worth the money and something you can challenge your friends to try

It took my husband about 2 hours to fully solve, taking it apart appears to be the easy step! Whilst over for christmas, my brother got it apart in maybe 30m, and my farther got it back together again in under an hour, but neither could do both. Proved more distracting than all of the drone that were flying around! Recommended

Great, no instructions so no cheating, unless you go online ?.Fun item & solved it after a few days/hours.A well made & presented puzzle & that will prove entertaining.I see there are many other puzzles at varying levels of hardness to solve, so looking forward to getting more of these.Highly recommended ?

This took me a good few hours to solve (mainly by pure fluke) and then a few more hours to work out how to solve it properly. This now sits on a shelf but I love to pick it up every now and again just to make sure I can still solve it. Incredible quality cast puzzle that we have come to expect from Hanayama.

Love this. It's a great desktop toy. Took me ages to figure out how to get it apart, but eventually the pieces dropped. Likewise a complete fiddle to get back together, but that exactly the point. Like a magician, you have to practise with it, in order to become fluent. Excellent puzzle and very good value.

I liked the fact that had many parts. It is not very easy to take it apart and hard to assemble it again. Mostly because of the many parts but at some point this was annoying and that is why I gave it a 4 and not a 5. Pieces were falling out of my hands while trying to assemble it. In general I enjoyed it.

For such a small and relatively simple puzzle (just 5 pieces) this has turned out to be remarkably difficult to solve (particularly re-assembling). It is a beautifully made thing, with a pleasing weight in the hand and feels like quality engineering. May hours of fun have been had with this in my family.
