The essential tool for the Lumia 950xl ! I followed instructions and as usual windows did not recognise it, swapped cables , powered off, powered on and success. i have a thinkpad 2.4 with 8gb ram and use it as a desktop connected to a 24" monitor. now i use my phone because its surely faster ! Seriously it works a dream on internet and using office documents and skydrive. the box itsself has a lovely feel of quality to it and the c type cable is a must , my dad is partially sighted and i am forever buying new usb connectors as they get trashed, usb-c is perfect ! As for good value ? well yes as i have no need to spend £££ on a pc but will it be a good investment given microsofts lack of support for the mobile phone ?hey and dont forget this kit is so portable ,

Got this to sit on my desk at work and make use of my spare monitor. Really handy when my PC breaks (which tends to be weekly...) as my phone can take over with the morning mundane duties.Really impressed how productive you can be with nothing but this and a Lumia 950. It's also great for watching films on a big screen streamed from your 'little' screen.Continuum is said to get a lot better in the coming months so a display dock is highly recommended!

I have linked my Microsoft Lumia 930 XL to a Dell LCD display, connected my USB mouse and keyboard. I am able to use internet, Microsoft Office and most of the softwares installed in my phone.Obviously the phone processors are not faster compared to a PC but the display dock works very well.

Удобно, подключил телефон к телевизору и вот практически компьютер, с определенными условностями конечно. Микрософт придумало это лет пять назад, некоторые производители смартфоном к этому пришли только недавно. Жалко, что windows 10 mobile сдался. Реально самая удобная РС для смартфона.

An excellent device for expanding features for Microsoft Lumia 950 smart phones. Easy to connect and use. The only missing feature is that the dock cannot be connected to PC for simultaneously charge and sync.

It enables your phone (950 or 950XL) to provide you with a desktop like experience.Some websites won't be as fast as with a normal desktop, but you can for example open netflix in edge and watch a movie.

Very easy to use and has saved me having to buy a WiFi box for my camper van.only problem is windows update stops video playback, so stick factory build on phone.
