I initially wanted to purchase the more expensive grinder with manual adjustments, but this one came very cheap so I gave it a go.Well, I'm not disappointed. Grind time and portions are automatic, same with start stop (push the porta filter to start / stop).What I find the best in this device is grind indicator. I buy different coffee and with different blend grind adjustment with electronic display comes very handy. There is no ambiguity, just display so when changing coffee to what I have used in the past all I have to do is turn the knob to the same level as before.Coffee container can be also removed without spilling coffee, which comes handy.

"Out of the box" settings with fresh roasted beans were really close to perfect, so I was enjoying good coffee straightaway without too much fettling. Grounds have a satisfying fluffiness and don't cling around the shoot, well designed group/basket holder so you are hands free while grinding to get your milk ready etc.

Love the timed function on this. Means you can consistently grind the same amount and grind size each time, important for flavor. Very smart looking and not too noisy. Bin your old blade grinder and buy this if your serious about coffee brewing. Sure there are more expensive grinders but this is enough for most.

This makes preparing coffee a pleasure. Looks great in kitchen, feels robust and well made and is extremely easy to use. Finds have been great for cafeteria as well as espresso. What else is there to start your morning right? Get one!
