Very nice device. Had it for 2 weeks and grinds beautifully the coffee. With the blade grinders you never control the grain level and if you do it to fine you block the cofee machine, if you grind it to coarse you are making a sort of cofee soup.Is very neat and keeps the beans and grinded cofee airtight in separate containers and the niceest thing is that you select the number of cups, press the button and it stops automatically once it grinded the required quantity.Very easy to use. I should had bought it years ago.The only "bad" point is that is noisy but I do not think that there is any "quiet" grinder, at least for this price level.

Bought this model as I've just moved home and it has a separate griddle too.Being a bachelor for the second time round,I find this ideal for me and doesn't take a gourmet chef to work it.Also its healthy and quick to cook aswell as clean. Can highly recommend this to a mature single bloke or as a handy combined grill and griddle.Staff and prices at Argos are the best as usual,so I'm happy.Only one thing though, you would think it being a dearer model it would have a spatula and tongs thrown in,but that's the only negative for me!

I grind beans for an AeroPress. Been using this grinder for a while and I'm happy with the features for the price. I prefer to measure out the beans each time and grind them until finished rather than filling the hopper and setting the dial on the front. The container could be easier to get the ground coffee out but I've gotten used to it now. It could be quieter but at this price point, I'm happy the grind is consistent. That's the main point here. It's easy to clean doesn't take up much space.

I choose this as a Burr Grinder is recommended over a Blade Grinder due to chopping rather than grinding coffee beans.I've initially had the problem with the removable upper burr popping up when grinding (and not finding any information on the De'Longhi website or YouTube). This is explained towards the end of theMAINTENANCE section about replacing the upper burr, however I would have expected this to be in the initial setup and also should mentioned the lock/unlock arrows on the upper burr.

Neat and impressive little machine that is great value. If you want to make espresso then the grind is not fine enough and you will end up using more coffee to get the same flavour. I was going to take mine back but what I do now is to finish the grind off in my blade grinder for 20 secs and the result is superb. Bit of a pain but I dont want to pay top dollar for one that will take the grind down further. It gives a nice even grind and would be great alone for all other types of brewing.

For the price this grinder beat all the others available. Being a burr grinder allows for consistent & accurate grind size, & the collector pot is generally pretty good at catching all the coffee without it spilling out. The item is small, so easy to fit on the worktop, but holds more than enough beans to avoid constant refilling. The bean holder is also covered so keeps them fresh. The best function on this is the ability to select how much coffee you want to grind with a simple turn knob.

Two tips. If the grinder does not switch on, check that the coffee container lid is on correctly, If not fitted, the grinder safety device stops the grinder operating. Also, you may find the grinder will not grind beans fine, but has a coarse grind even on fine setting. This may be caused by the top burr grinding plate not fitted correctly. Turn the top of the top burr grinder. I turned mine fully clockwise until it stopped. Beans are now very fine and suitable for automatic espresso machines.

I was nearly put off by the odd reviews that said it couldn't grind fine enough for espresso but im a glad I brought it now. I started off on the finest setting thinking it wouldn't be enough but it comes out finer than any pre-ground espresso coffee I've brought and my machine struggled to get the water through. I have had to turn it back off the finest setting now to get a good pullThe only down side is the minimum number of cups it grinds at a time is 2 rather than 1

It's hard to review this product, as it's the first coffee grinder I've owned. It's straightforward and idiot proof to use. It won't even start unless the trays are inserted properly, so you can't really go wrong. My coffee tastes great, it does the job well. I can adjust the amount of cups and also how fine the grind is. So it's all I need in a grinder! As far as reliability goes, I cannot comment on this yet as it's fairly new. So I guess that time will tell!

I'm getting great results, and finding it easy to use the coarse/fine adjustment depending whether I want to use stove top espresso or cafetière. I've read some other reviews, but have to say I think the instructions give clear and helpful advice about making coffee in different ways. Also having read some of the comments on reliability, I took out replacement product cover. Even including this, I've still got a proper burr grinder for less than 50 quid.

Burr coffee grinders are the best but can be expensive. Most grinders are mills with a blade which is not as good as grinding disks. If you want the best coffee then get a burr grinder. Confusingly some grinders claim to be coffee burrs but they have a blade so they are not. This is the real deal and one of the cheapest available. After some research I chose this based on expert reviews. I've only had it a few days but very happy with the results.

I’ve been looking to get a burr grinder for awhile now, I have The De’Longhi espresso machine (my second one) and get fresh coffee beans locally. (Limini coffee company)Thought (was told) I’d have to pay top dollar for a good burr grinder but this one works perfectly, loads of grind settings and can do multiple cups of grinding in one go. Also the grind is very consistent.Love this little machine as much as I love coffee.

After researching different grinders, I opted for the De' longhi burr coffee grinder. Argos delivered it at the time I requested. Its a lovely piece of kit. Its looks smart on the kitchen counter. It grinds just enough coffee for your cup requirement and at the desired consistency whether fine or coarse. If you love coffee as I do, then you'll love this machine as it will give the art of coffee making a whole new dimension.

So pleased with this. Worth spending a little bit more to get exactly what we wanted. Really easy to use put beans in top set dial for amount you want to grind and whether you want it fine or corse. press go. Love that you only have to grind what you want. Only downside is its a bit messy but thats just the way it is when grinding your own coffee nothing to do with machine. Would definitely recommend

This grinder grinds the beans fine enough for my espresso machine at home and the coffee tastes as good of not better than the shop ones so I am happy as it was also the cheapest burr grinder I could find. It also holds more beans than my last one wich was a Krups. That didn't last two minutes. The reason for the four stars is I still would prefer it to take the full amount of coffee beans (225g)
