It's hard to imagine a perfume that evokes a sense of awe in the way Femme does. Why? Because it is a wonder that it was born at all, let alone has survived since 1944 largely unchanged. Edmond Roudnitska worked alone creating this iconic scent during some of the darkest days of 1942-43 in a tiny laboratory next to a rubbish-dump in occupied Paris. Miles from his native Grasse, and despite many raw materials being simply unobtainable, he somehow managed to produce this hauntingly beautiful masterpiece. I've often seen Femme described as a fruity-chypre. I think that's because in the opening notes the boozy, over-ripe peach and plum, together with the rose,

The perfume has been my mum's favorite for about 25 yrs. The perfume has become difficult to get a hold of from Department Stores and decided to try Amazon. I was delighted to find it available on line. The perfume is worth the money at just under £30.00 for 100 ml. The packaging was original and very classy. I know my mum will be delighted and I will purchase again. The perfume was received within 3 days, and well packed. When it was delivered I did not have to sign for the item. This concerned me encase there was some type of problem and I would not have minded paying an extra few £'s ensuring delivery. Thanks Gillian

I have worn this perfume for years, I only us it as a day perfume as it is light but I must say not as fabulous as it used to be. The perfume was stonger and lasted longer but that could be that this is an Eau De Toilette.It reminds me of the Company Secretary who was a fabulous young woman when I was a junior in the office of a local builder. I was always wishing I could be like her, the perfume was the lingering thing. I was given the perfume as a Christmas gift that year and have worn it ever since. As the years went past it was my signature scent and was greatly admirred by both men and women.

I was so pleased to find Rochas perfumes on Amazon. They're hard to track down in the real world. I couldn't afford my favourite, Byzance, so I settled for this, and it arrived quickly, and beautifully and safely packed. I am not as aware of it in use as I was with Byzance, and I'm hoping someone will tell me that I smell good. Not that I get that close really, but I notice other people's perfumes, so maybe I'll get some reaction to this. It makes me feel good anyway, and I smile every time I use it.

On my way to work one morning, as I passed a complete stranger in the street, the elderly gentleman commented that the scent from my perfume made him feel that it was well worth getting up early for - what more can I say!! I felt really special as though I had brightened his day - and mine!Over the years I have tried so many perfumes but always come back to this one, but it's not that easy to find. Thanks Amazon for stocking it. This really is my signature perfume.

My wife's favourite perfume for many, many years.The product, Rochas Femme, should not be confused with Madame Rochas, which, unfortunately, was despatched initially ... but the 'Returns Service' was second to none - I immediately completed the paperwork, it was collected the next day by City Link, and, within the next few days, the corrected order was received.This was an exemplary service by Amazon - and my wife is thrilled to bits with the perfume ... buy it !!!

I've bought a few of these through Amazon, and the last time there was some confusion with the courier delivering it. I have to say that the company I bought them through could have not been more helpful in sorting the problem out. They bent over backwards to help, and were polite and extremely professional. They also made sure I received my purchase.I thoroughly recommend them, and whilst perfume is a personal choice, I do think this is a beautiful perfume

Femme is a lovely, warm, spicy and feminine fragrance, without being too overpowering. I had forgotten about it when I saw it on Amazon and am really glad that I decided to treat myself. I believe it is normally much more expensive than what I paid for it ( and it smells very expensive too!) and I really do feel like I got a total bargain. Two of my clients mentioned today that my perfume smelled gorgeous - it's a very good quality perfume.

On first spray I must admit I was not sure about this perfume, it was a blind purchase, based on many reviews that I had read about the perfume, but after wearing it 3 or 4 times I fell head over heels in love, when you get it its amazing. Its not for the faint hearted, its a punchy sent, but its a sent that wears close to the skin, im so glad I made the purchase.The packaging the delivery and service was great.

I used this perfume back in the 70s and I haven't seen it for years. It has the most wonderful rich floral smell, quite unlike any other perfume. It was great to find it again. I fully expected to find it was too heavy, like so many perfumes of its era, but it was just as I remembered - absolutely fabulous - and people are always saying how much they like it!

I discovered this fragrance many years ago when looking for a gift for my wife.She loved it then and I have bought it many times over the years but have been unsuccessful when looking for it over the last few years.Fortunately, Amazon came to my rescue and I now have a very happy wife again!I love this perfume and, needless to say, so does my wife!

God bless this wonderful company; after eight months trying to find this glorious perfume in British shopd and various airports, we finally found it via Amazon just in time for our 39th wedding anniversary. It arrived quickly, beautifully packaged to protect it and i couldnt be happier. many thanks to those concerned; I will definitely be back

So pleased to be able to find this perfume on line. It's timeless and distinctive, without that chemical smell I so often associated with 'new' perfumes. Quite citrus and the perfume I wear every day. It's a good buy and has stood the test of time and is ofen remarked on. Perfumes are a must for me and this does have a 'classy' air.....

I used Rochas Femme Eau de Toilette spray in my late teens. Discovering I was still able to purchase, and being much older, I was curious if I still liked it. And yes I do, It has a subtle, sophisticated and long lasting smell, not sweetly sickly like some. I am pleased to have discovered it again and and enjoying the subtle fragrance.

I love this perfume, and have done for some time. I loved the price too from Amazon, so I bought two - one for a friend and one for myself. Perfume of course is a very personal thing, so you either love it or you don't. The service from Amazon was perfect, packaging and delivery great. I am thrilled with all aspects of this purchase.
