Initially I was disappointed.Having never played a Monster Hunter title I was expecting a more traditional story and character driven RPG. Once I got past that and started to understand and enjoy the game for what it is - things got much better.Pros:Great class based system - no levels - just equipment.Increasing challenge throughout the game.Enjoyable - varied combatGreat for travelling - You can pause this game and then just come back where you left off.Excellent online integration.Cons:Lack of explanation.No voice acting.A solid game, we need more like this. Id love to try a Monster Hunter game on the Vita should it ever come around.

The games is exactly what you expect a fun fast paced action game. I really wouldn't class it as an RPG it really lack the option of making decisions that affect the world around you and there is not a very strong story. Saying that though what it lacks in story it makes up for in fast paced battles and fun boss fights. I would recomend this for casual gamers.

Okay its not monster hunter but for portable game its great. Nice bright clear graphics. Great for playing in bite sized chunks maybe not as indepth as MS but a good game on the go.

I originally bought a USA version from some other retailer. This however, is the appropriate UK version. I think it is? I might be reviewing the wrong one. Well good luck readers.

If you like rpg's and button bashing you will enjoy this. Be warned though many supplies are not in the uk and it took a while to arrive

I had high hopes for this and it did not fail to excite me. Brilliant game well worth picking up if you love a good JRPG
