Note that these aren't coated (not single or multicoated) so color fringing is apparent. If you shoot in RAW, AdobeRAW has a tool to partially remove this at least.It's not as good as a true macro lens, but you'll get 80% there. For the several macro shots I do a year, this is nice and I save megabucks on not buying a good macro lens.Note that I'm using these on Canon's L glass so I may get better results than if you use a cheap lens to start with.Note that the closest focus distance (Z) will be:Z=X/(DX+1) where X is the normal closest focusing distance of your lens (in your lens specs or even printed on your lens barrel) and D is the Diopter.The longest focus distance for your lens will be 1/D.

The product arrived on time and the packing, both external and internal was found to be more than adequate. The pouch comfortably allows for the protected carriage of the four lenses. The close-up lenses were all in good condition and I found them easy to mount on the camera lens when tried in various combinations. In all tests these lenses produced surprisingly good results. The macro effect is good provided the camera/lens combination can be kept steady and free of any movement, so a tripod is the recommended solution. The only adverse remark I have is that the depth of field is not as clear as I would like it to be, however,

These lenses are great value and surprisingly good quality for the price. The pouch is very handy. They worked well on the wide angle to get closer to small critters.

An amazing range of magnification with these four lenses and no light loss, no vingnetting. Crisp and sharp, very good optics from Polaroid.
