ENGLISH: I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I was looking for a set of filtros to extend my experience in photography, but having a tight budget I can't afford high quality products, this set isn't just of great quality, but is also affordable for lower budgets.I haven't used the FL filter since I'd rather use the camera's WB or photoshop to correct the effect of flourescent lights. The UV filter works just fine, I keep ot attached to the lens to prevent it from getting dirt and scratches. Lastly the CPL is just wonderful, no other words to discribe it, does a great work on heightening color saturation if you know what you are doing and it removes most of shines and reflections from surfaces,I wish it could correct the strongest overexposures but I can't complaint considering the price I paid for the prodcut. I recommend this product for those who are looking onto filter sets but can't afford better quality sets.ESPAÑOL: Estoy bastante satisfecho con la compra.

I had seen these on sale elsewhere and was very curious about their relatively low price. I have a camera, two of whose lenses have a 37mm filter thread and I was specifically looking for a circular polarizer. Other brands were selling at prices between £24 and £30 for a single filter and here you are getting three plus a case for considerably less. There is a similar set of four such filters also available plus a set of close-up lenses that sells at a similar price. Very similar sets are also available under the Agfa brand. A circular polarizer of whatever size is usually the most expensive available (certain specialist filters excepted). For Polaroid (via Amazon)to be able to sell a set for the price asked necessitates that something has to give. That is quality! For a stills camera (with or without video capability) there are many more pixels to the original image and the image is going to be looked at for longer and certainly in more detail than a moving image on a TV screen. Any faults in the still image will show but most will not be evident in a moving image. Filters for stills use need to be plane parallel - both sides perfectly flat and of the same exact thickness throughout. Video filters are less demanding and the professionals usually use optically imperfect gelatin filters which they will discard when dirty or torn.As every reviewer has referred to their using these with a video camera, they will be quite happy with their quality and they are more than adequate for that. Don't be tempted to use them for still photography but invest in the correct accessories. They will cost a little more but the results will be better!

I bought the 46mm Polaroid filter kit for a Panasonic G3 camera, but without high expectations since the kit was so cheap. I ran an (unscientific) test on the UV filter by taking identical RAW images under identical conditions using the Lumix 20mm f/1.7 lens. I used a tripod and the 2 second timer function so that no camera shake would affect the images. The filters are a good fit for that lens and they are easy to attach and remove.I then printed the RAW images directly from Silkypix at A4 size on a Canon Pixma 9000 II inkjet printer and could see no difference in the printed outputs. I cropped into the images by a factor of about 5 times and printed the resulting crops - again no difference is discernible in an A4 sized print. It appears that, at least at those print sizes, the UV filter can be regarded as pretty much neutral. As a protector for a lens costing about £250 the filter, which effectively cost less than £5,is good value for money.

Only one of those filters is truly useful, namely the polarizing one, but it ain't too strong at that. It limits the reflected light all right but it's nowhere as effective as, say glasses with polarizing filters. The UV filter makes any difference only when you are using a film in your camera. With digital cameras it has no use other than physically protecting your lenses. As for the FLD filter it does nothing to "Reduce The Greenish Tone When Shooting Under Fluorescent Lighting". Just turns everything violet / pinkish. The only use I've found for it is evening sky shots, where it can add a nice hue to it, changing the atmosphere of the photo. So, as I've said,it all boils down to the CPL filter but given the price it is still not a bad deal.

After much deliberation, I purchased this filter set because of the price and the brand name. I did not want to spend more than $100 on a filter set and was looking for a decent CPL and UV filter that does the job. I tested the CPL on my 18-200mm VR Nikkor and the filter performed well as expected. Even though you cannot compare this Polaroid CPL to B+W CPL, this still does a pretty decent job in reducing the haze and providing some color saturation. I hope this review helps people out there looking for a decent 72MM filter set. Also, the case that comes along with this filter set is pretty durable and accommodate up to 4 filters!Without CPL filter : [...]With Polaroid CPL filter : [...]

Can confirm that this CPL does not break auto focus on the canon STM lens. It does work, gets rid of reflections and makes sky look bluer when used correctly. But with all the three lenses there is definite flaring/IQ problems especially when a hood is not used. However, sometimes this might make pictures look more artistic.Quality isn't the best, not sure if its actually glass or perspex. Lenses came tucked in a wallet with four pouches. I would have thought each lens would come in plastic container with a screw on lid, but they were in plastic bags with holes in. The wallet isn't well thought out as it will not prevent the lenses getting covered in dust.

The filters are of a good quality, not the best but you get what you pay for. Have been using the UV filter on my camera for over a year now with occasional venture into the CPL territory and can't fault them really. The only downside is that the CPL makes my photos a little bit softer but this is only noticeable when looked at on a big computer screen, prints are very clear and lovely colour without having to spend hours adjusting them.Just ordered a second set for a friend but it came with a defect in the CPL filter so will have to have it replaced. The process is smooth as usual with Amazon so no problems here either.

I'm not a professional photographer and I was concerned that I had made the wrong purchase, considering that there are so many brands to choose from! I knew I had made the right choice once the filters arrived! These filters have added a professional look to my pictures especially the CPL filter - I have used it countless times on my Canon 70-300IS lens. All my photos taken of my sons outdoor sports look amazing. I use the UV filter on my smaller lens as protection against dust and scratches. Ive used the FLD filter a few times with great success! The nylon pouch is an added bonus!

I bought this set for my Nikon D90. mainly because of the CPL filter for my holidays in the mountains. I find it very difficult to take pictures in the mountains in sunny weather. The contrast is very high even for an SLR. Light reflected from the snow or light gray stones does not help. I got tired of hazy pictures from recent years (don't know why I haven't bought polarization filter earlier!). Anyway this year... bingo! Almost every single picture is the way I wanted it! High contrast, saturated colors. Very happy. It is real pleasure to watch holidays pictures this year.

Good quality filter set, with a very light and easy to use case. It was helpful that there is room for 4 filters, as I bought a variable ND filter and so was able to put it in with the three filters that came in this kit.The UV and CPL filters will be the ones I use the most, as the FLD filter is not really needed with many digital cameras, as they often have settings to allow for fluorescent lighting, but I may find use for it if I didn't want to use the camera preset option.Pleased with the ease of use, quality of filter and threads and the results so far.

With modern digital cameras you probably don't need UV filters, but they are neutral and they protect the lens front. Having wrecked a lens which would have been saved by having a filter, I like the protection. This set also has a Polarising filter, which works well, and a Flourescent light filter. they fit the lens well and the lens cap still fits at the end of the day shooting. For the money this is a good package, you might get better filters elsewhere but you might not notice the difference and you will pay more.

For the money you've got to rate these. The uv is essentially just lens protection which it does well it does also cut back on heat haze as its designed to do. The cpl filter works too, it's subtle in its effect which is quite nice. I've not used the floresant filter yet but I'm confident it work as well as the others. Like I said, for the money these are a good buy. There are better, but to see if you need these type of filters these are a good choice to start with.

I bought this set mainly for just two of the filters, the UV and the polarising filter. I have never used the fluorescent light filter and don't think I ever will. The UV filter is used by myself and most others purely to protect the camera lens from dust and scratches. A five pound filter is no big loss, but a scratch on a three hundred pound lens would really hurt. The filters fit well and do not appear to have any distortion.I am happy with my purchase.

These filter s are good value and are being used on a Nikon V1 10 to 30 mm lens. The UV stays on all the time to protect the front element from dust and damge. It works well and does cut haze well. The circular polarizer (CP) is very effective and allows sky to become a deep blue. Pictures using the CP are very contrasty. The pack comes with a filter storage poch which is fine with velcro closing. All in all an excellent buy for the Nikon V1.

i have bought several sets of these for my various lens sizes. great value useful carry case and do the job quite well, cant compare them to top end filters but then again look at the price of top end filters, i think this kit is good enough for anyone and had great results with them - -on saying that don't have a use for the FLD, but take it out the case and use the space for my cleaning cloth and wet wipescant complain not at this price
