Bought for my six year old. She got the hang of it really quickly (using the big version) and it’s good fun to play with her. Magnets and wipe clean pens mean it’s easy to play.The colours and the pirate theme makes it less “boyish” than other battleships games I looked at. It doesn’t need to be a “war” game; rather it’s a way of teaching skills of strategy and logic.

My grandchild likes playing battleships but it’s so fiddly and so does not get used. This is similar and easy to play.

This is a brilliant version of the game. We have bought 2 for our grandchildren. They live it.

Great game. My kids loved it. Only issue was one of the dry wipe pens stopped working.
