Having read a fair bit, and watched several movies, on the subject, I bought this kit. Id have loved to have gotten a bigger more detailed model. But I felt I couldn't afgird to, at present. I've only built one ship model, since returning to my mini-military interests, and that was a 1/300 resin and white metal Napoleonic subject by Langton. This kit, by the excellent Revell, is as yet unbuilt. I've spent a LOT of time examining the sprues, however, in readiness for beginning the build.It appears to me to be a decent representation of the subject - and despite all the books I've read in the subject I'm no expert - but is obviously limited in detail/accuracy by the small scale.

This is an affordable and nicely detailed model, decent size and easy enough to build. I'm an amateur modeller and didn't find this too challenging. Will buy Revell models again.

Just what I was looking forward to give my partner a challenge. He is going to be taking his time doing this but it will jeep him quiet for hours.

A detailed full hull representation of the Bismarck. Instructions are clear and easy to follow and the kit is simple to assemble.

Fantastic product. If you struggle with your eyesight then you've got no chance without a magnifying lense.

I had a lot of fun building this model, very detailed, easy to build, I would recommend this to everyone.

Got this for my daughter and she's very happy with it although it's very fiddly work!

In parts overly fiddly. Splitting some board (eg 'C' into three bits not best idea.

Too many very small arts but when finished looks great. Difficult to paint
