I first played battleships as a kid many moons ago using paper and loved the game even then. Bought this to play when we go away in the caravan or just for a bit of fun at home.The two closable cases keep all the bits safe and together and the cases are small enough not to take up.much room but not tiny to be too small. Just right.The pieces used to show where you have "fired" are a bit fiddly for bigger hands but certainly not unusable.A bit hit with the family

Fun and functional game. Yeah it is plastic which makes it look a bit cheap but it is cheap so you get what you pay for. We have played twice and we are really happy with it, though I agree with other reviews that the pins are too small for an adult hand making it tricky but not impossible.

Excellent classic game somewhat ruined by the size and design of the board and pegs.I don't have big fingers and consider myself reasonably dexterous, but it is very difficult to play with the size and weight of the pegs and how they get trapped in the peg holes

I used to love this game as a kid and it still absolutely slaps. Super small and cute and easy to use. I would definitely take it away with me when we can travel again. 100% gonna lose some of the little coloured thingies but c'est la vie

Pleased with this- my son loved it, but fiddlely! We had to go over the numbers and letters (the co-ordinates) in a sliver pen as they are embossed in the plastic (and therefore the same colour) and were very tricky to see!

Bought as a gift for two boys.Fiddly bits and I'm not sure how well it would 'travel' without losing items but, well thought out design and a good game for a rainy day.Item arrived on time and as described.

Great game to take on a trip. All pieces stay in their compartments even after travelling in a suitcase! Game is quite lengthy if you’re looking for a quick game but if you have the time is a great buy.

Excellent quality, far better that I had imagined for the price, would recommend.I bought this to entertain the children (6 & 8yrs old) on holiday and ended up playing it myself.

It’s a classic game and great fun. The pieces are teeny tiny but it is travel size... I bought the travel size not for travel but because the full size is a so expensive!!

Very useful although as it is small and compact when you open the game consoles some of the lose spins do fall out and can be quite a mess to clear up.

My grandson aged 7 years so enjoys playing battle ships. We have a caravan and it’s excellent to take with you on holidays.Small neat and compact.

Compact, perfect for the family holiday. My daughter didn’t really get the idea of the game, she kept moving her boats if I hit one on target!

Really good compact version of the original Balttleship. Not for everyday use mayhaps due to it's size, but an excellent travel companion.

Battle ships! What a classic. Brought for travelling but love the original and this is exactly that just a mini version! Loads of fun

Love the game. But the two parts split apart in the bags and the pieces go everywhere. Bring an elastic band to hold together
