We switched from using tea bags a couple of years ago, and have much preferred the flavour as well as the ritual involved with loose leaf tea (we use a teapot). Since we made the switch, we've used a different brand, popular in the UK - but it seems that is not available to buy in large bags, so I bought this PG Tips instead. It's really good value to be able to buy loose-leaf tea in bulk - if you have the cupboard space for it - and, whilst I believe this product gives the same PG Tips taste, for me that flavour is inferior to our preferred brand.I'd encourage everyone to switch from tea bags, though, so if cost/regular availability of loose leaf tea is an issue for you and you like the PG tips taste,I'd strongly recommend buying this so you have a good couple of month's (or more) supply of tea.

Quality affordable (low cost, bulk loose leaf black tea for daily use). Granular for easy quick brewing. This tea has both flavour and strength. Fit for purpose. Value for money. Great black tea-leaf base for blending with other loose leaf teas to perfect your own blend of preferred taste and flavours too. For example, 50% PG Tips blended with 40% Typhoo and either 10% Freiburger Munstertee or Teapigs liquorice & peppermint herbal infusion. Recommend you ignore the negative reviews about "taste" comparisons, with the exception of damaged packaging when product is delivered. When this happened, I obtained a full refund via Amazon and ordered a satisfactory replacement (in original sealed brandedPG Tips packaging within a few days).

This is a much easier way of buying tea instead of buying small packets. It's exactly the same as the small packets of PG tips. The reason it's ground up small is so you don't have to leave it for a long time to brew. Makes a lovely cup of tea! I have just bought a new bag of PG tips, which is the fourth bag I've bought so far! It's very nice tea !!!!! Now I have been regularly buying this tea for a whole year and it's the nicest tea I have ever bought !!!! It's always consistently high quality tea and it's a good price !!!

Some people like fancy teas - earl grey, english breakfast etc. There's a reason PG is the most popular and has been for decades - it is by far the best blend in my opinion. I drink it morning, noon and night and have done since I was a baby. I still remember having it from a little pink spout cup. Over fifty years on, and I still think this is the best. The large pack saves me money too, cheaper than Tesco.

I’ve always liked tea and pg tips is top of my favourites. I know many are using teabags these days but believe me, you get a much better tea using the leaves, and, it’s a lot cheaper and goes a lot further. If you want to taste tea then try pg tips.Warm the pot firstWould highly recommend.

As part of trying to cut down on plastics, ditched tea bags which contain some plastic and decided to use loose leaf tea. Now enjoying the full flavour of PG Tips without the tea bag. Very tasty. If we could get the product in a fully recycleable bag it would be perfect.

I love my tea I have been drinking PG Tips tea for years, my tea caddies are full and tastes as great as it always does. I don’t know what others are referring to about dust I can see nothing wrong and would and will up again. Recommend.

Bag was not resealable. My fault as this is a catering pack and just wouldn't have enough caddies to store it in. Thought the pack looked resealable but it's not. Bit odd but presumably caterers use all 1.5k in one go or decant ???

We've drunk this tea for years as we prefer loose tea to tea bags. Very good flavour. It's great that we can buy it in this size as it saves on packaging and works out a bit cheaper than buying a few 200g packs.

Very pleased with this Tea, glad I bought two packs, reminds me of how nice tea used to taste before Tea bags came on the scene. Full rich flavour, nice aftertaste from an established old name. 10/10

Can’t beat the flavour of PG tea leaves from a pot.We are a family of 5 tea drinkers and are trying to be as environmentally friendly as possible by no longer using tea bags.

Struggled to get my dad loose tea while in lockdown. I got him these and they are great, should keep him going for a while. Easy to store and use. Great flavour too.

Moved to tea leaves as tea bags have plastic and this is one of the best ones we have tried. Very strong and is not very fine so doesn't get through the filter.

Can’t find PG loose tea in shops any more, hate teabags. Especially after visiting a tea factory in Sri Lanka and finding out what goes on them!

I decided to move away from using teabags and have started using this. Delicious tea. I'be also used it to make my own chai masala as well, yum!
