This was my regular tea for years, before trying Twinings Assam a little over a year ago and being seduced by its brute strength. For a good few months, I thought I preferred the Assam. But then, one week when money was tight, I chose English Breakfast at the supermarket instead as it was on special offer ... and was left totally confused. The long period of absence had reawakened my palate to the fruity finesse of this blend, and I didn't miss the extra strength of the Assam, either. English Breakfast is a perfect all-rounder and has a bit more complexity to it than Assam. I know it's intended for breakfast, but obviously it can be enjoyed at any time of the day if you're a stickler for strong tea -- which I am.

With it's subtle orange flavour and aromatic soothing taste and feel, this is one of my favourite teas. Very soothing for a sore throat. Twinings makes Earl Grey neither too light not too intense making for a very relaxing satisfying experience with the bergamot and spicy fragrance and taste. A great afternoon and early evening tea.Variations which are also recommended are the slightly more woody and more fragrant Wizzotsky Earl Grey.

This is rather pretentious writing a review about tea bags which I don't use - She does - but it's worth mentioning that while I understand the tea is flavoursome, cheeky, travels well etc etc, - it's also worth mentioning the Amazon deal whereby you can get it delivered every month/few months and save quite a bit on supermarket prices, and of course not all supermarkets stock it.

Bought this as a present for my mum. It's a treat for her as she loves Twinings Earl Grey tea, however it can be quite pricey in shops. I decided to get the 4 pack (200 teabags) delivered to her so that she doesn't have to buy for a while. Great tea, and a brilliant price too! Very quick delivery and she was certainly very pleased. I will be buying again :)

I really like the flavour of this, not bitter and quite light . I also like the foil seal, which preserves the flavour better than non-foil-sealed version.The foil seal is not individual for each tea bag, but all the bags are in one, quite sturdy foil seal.Only thing to make it better if it the foil seal could be closed hermetically after opening.

"An invigorating amber coloured tea with a full bodied taste" so the box says. It's tea, then?If you consider yourself to have 'normal' tea tastes but find the run-of-the-mill stuff a bit hit-and-miss, I really recommend this.Strangely I can't bring myself to make one of these past 12 noon; it just feels wrong somehow.

It is my favourite tea as for now! People will either love it or hate it. Me and my friends loves this tea so much. I love the slight fresh fragrant it gives. But my family does not like this tea which I don't know why. (They might only enjoy a normal tea). Anyway, give it a go. It is really worth it!

I drink mostly tea and water nearly every day but over the past several years have become more and more sensitive to caffeine. But I cannot be without my Earl Grey! I was so happy to find that there is a decaffeinated version and am very pleased with the flavour. Recommended!

SO annoyed that Twinings have stopped supplying my local supermarkets with this tea, in this format. SO pleased that this tea is available from this seller - long may it last! Delicate tea without being perfumed. Lovely with a drop of milk, or a slice of lemon.

I am a regular drinker of lady grey and earl grey tea. I have found it more expensive each time I was buying it on line so I am checking it in the super market now. It will have to be a cheaper brand now. I have a wide taste in black tea which I am glad about.

great tea, deep and dark, comes in loose bags without paper packaging, each one containing 3g of tea, wich is more then enough to give you a satisfying cup in the morning. i keep mine in a sealed thin to keep the aroma frech, wich work perfectly.

In my opinion Twinings English Breakfast Teabags are the best on the market and make a delicious refreshing cuppa.With a strong taste and aromatic smell I highly recommend Twinings English Breakfast to any discerning lover of Tea.

It’s Lapsang Souchong, what else is there to say. You either like it or not but if you do the deal that I got was tremendous value compared to supermarket prices. Long dated as well.

The tea snob in me approves of Twinings, but this is no cheaper than getting a single pack at Tesco!Unless you have huge cupboards, buying this makes very little sense.

Excellent value. At last the proper original pack, with none of the waste of the frills in the ?'new' packs in all the shops.Thank you for the excellent packaging too.
