The Pukka Tea brand seems to be going from strength to strength - they're widely available these days, and are of reliably high quality, whichever blend you buy.The 'Night Time Tea' is caffeine free - sensibly - and contains:* Oat flower (calms and nourishes)* Lavender (soothes and relaxes)* Lime flower (helps settle the mind). This flower comes from the lime tree which you see on streets (AKA the Linden tree) rather than the fruit-producing tree of the same name. The box contains 20 individually-wrapped tea bags. When you first open the sachet, there's a strong herbal aroma which isn't particularly pleasant (a bit like sweaty feet to me), but this only lasts seconds, and the end result is worth holding your breath for.The taste is primarily a gentle lavender; very nicely balanced and easy to want more of. I didn't find that they helped me get to sleep, but avoiding drinks with caffeine in probably does, so indirectly they've helped, I suppose. They only last for two cups' worth - if you try and get a 'third pressing', it'll be very weak.A lovely blend.

I've been using these in the evening for several years, as well as Pukka's Feel New in the morning. Since having the Night Time drink I'm sure I'm sleeping better.Like others they occasionally come in generic gold coloured bags. To quote from the FAQs on Pukka's website"When we experience high demand for a particular tea blend, we sometimes use generic gold Pukka tags and sachets, to ensure the blend is still available for you to buy, instead of going out of stock. In these situations, the organic herbal blend and tea bag remain the same, it is only the tag and sachet that changes. Both the tea carton and the teabag sachet have the batch code printed on them, which will match, giving further assurance that the tea contained in the sachet matches that described on the box."

I’ve been on medication for the last few weeks which is making me suffer from severe insomnia. I didn’t want to pop pills so I decided to give night time tea bags a try.As usual, come 10.30pm I started yawning so I made the tea. I left the tea to brew for 15 minutes as stated and I put a sweetener in it too. The tea smells nice and the taste was good too. I was expecting something horrible tasting but was pleasantly surprised. I finished the cup, did my nightly routine and for the first time in two weeks, fell asleep like a baby. This tea makes you feel calm, relaxed and that went a long way at easing me into sleep. I felt refreshed when I woke up. I felt somewhat tired after drinking this,so I would recommend, taking this tea within 15-30 minutes before going to bed.

WARNING- Hold onto your fancypants because your dream world is about to take a major detour into the realm of "WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?"! Yes, this tea works exceptionally well as sleep aid, however, it also acts as catalyst for your unconscious brain to run amuck during your REM stages. For example, my wife and I both had a cup prior to beddy by time last night and I wandered into a world where I was battling infant rattlesnakes in order to get to a plane on time, and my lovely wife was immured in a world where we were arguing (screaming apparently) about her fashion choices and how I felt they conveyed her as a lady of the night. You've been properly warned. Happy dreams.

I am a very light sleeper and my other half struggles to get to sleep as works shifts so between us our sleep patterns can be erratic and short. However I tried these a few years ago and we have sworn by them ever since! The taste isn't for everyone and I would recommend brewing for at least 10 minutes before drinking but they are AMAZING. They have helped my partner fall asleep within 15 minutes of drinking and I stay asleep through the night. The other great benefit is they make you feel that you have had a really decent deep sleep and wake up refreshed (not matter how short). HIGHLY RECOMMEND these and other Pukka teas, the genuinely do work!

This is a great value for money and does exactly as it is advertised. Love the floral packaging, compliments the name and tea well.I found these do relax me, I am sleeping better after drinking these,my insomnia isn’t as bad as it was prior to taking these. The taste is mild, not too strong and not to faint, I tend to mix in a spoon of sugar or honey and it becomes very tasty and easy to consume. This has Ashwagandha in which was the main reason I bought it, as it is quite beneficial for the health and prevents stress, is good for rheumatoid etc.The smell is quite strong and slightly off putting but otherwise the tea has no flaws.

I bought this tea whilst on offer in Morrisons and must say it was a good decision. Both my mum and I both struggle with our sleep patterns and will often wake during the night. We both started having a cup of this tea before heading to bed and I must say that I am having a good nights sleep at long last. The taste is lovely, the oats and lavender fit together nicely. The lavender also has a pleasent after taste and the smell alone is enough to help you sleep. Must say I have often dropped to sleep fairly quickly after drinking a cup of this tea.Since starting to drink this tea I have recommended it to others - such a lovely blend

I normally have a cocktail of either gin rum or whiskey, sometimes in combination, and although this tea doesn't quite have the same knock out value it is probably better for me and my liver, and has led to some comfortable nights sleep. It is also considerably cheaper and doesn't leave you feeling groggy the following day. Upon the opening the sachet it does smell rather like dried foot skin which has been soaked in dog piss and left to dry for 200 years, however don't let that put you off! Once brewed it is very nice indeed and would happily recommend it to my mother. Goes better with a shot of kraken.

As everyone else says, lovely smell - unusual taste (I can taste a hint of liquorice which I believe is part of it) but not offputting and is drinkable. It has a slight sweetness without having to add anything - perfect for a sweet tooth like me who can't drink tea without sweeteners!Best drinking 2-3 hours before bed without eating anything else after you drink this but it definitely helps you unwind before sleep. I was dosing off well before my normal (late) bedtime. If anything, it really helps you relax!

I started using this tea because I was finding it difficult to fall asleep. I read that this tea helped so I bought a box and that was 4 months ago now. The flavour is really nice, much better tasting than the Twinnings Sleep tea. You have to leave it to brew for 15 minutes but within 10 minutes I can already feel the tea making me feel sleepy. This product was delivered quickly and is a good value for money with the four boxes. I highly recommend.

I love the taste of this tea and it does instantly relax me. I have a kettle which allows me to set the temperature and so I pour 90°c water over the teabag and I just leave the bag in and usually start drinking after it has brewed for 10 minutes. I do enjoy most of the pukka range but these are my favourite and I've noticed a significant difference in how fast I get to sleep but also the quality of my sleep after this, really makes me relax.

These arrived out of the box and loose, with the pack folded flat, I thought this strange at first but then I suppose it lessens packaging and makes it easier to get through letter box,the box would have got squashed anyway. A part from that, they do give off a strong smell of lavender, but once the tea is brewed it is a lot less strong. The tea tastes quite nice and I slept well so fingers crossed I always will now ,with my nighttime brew.

This tea tastes absolutely delicious and has the most beautiful aroma - really relaxing after a long day. Had a cup when my anxiety was really bad and it helped to ground me and calm me down. The lavender smell is subtle but very comforting. Pleased amazon offers it as a 4 pack - gives me the chance to give some to friends but also keep some for myself! Price here is also very competitive compared to the supermarkets.

I was suffering from insomnia and had been on promethezaine for 2 years until I started to experience bad headaches and feel unrested whenever I woke up. I needed something to calm me down at night without the drug effects and that’s where this tea comes in. At first the smell isn’t great but it taste ok and best of all it sends me to sleep nicely and I wake at night though, but I feel a lot more refreshed now.

I doubled bagged this a few hours before bedtime. Didn’t think it would be so effective. Was so sleepy in a couple of hours. Use to drink T2 Sleep Tight but decided to try this. In terms of taste, this feels a bit lighter. You’d have to brew it for longer (about 10-15 mins) to release its taste. If you like herbal tea this is for you. Have a similar aftertaste to their liquorice tea but I enjoy that.
