These pens are the ones you remember from school. They are fibretips, not roller balls or ball point, but fibretips. The line it gives is bold, clear and thick. For me, they are too thick to write every day things with - I'd not find it easy to write a letter with one (OK, OK, who actually writes letters these days?) but they are ideal for drawing, writing on the calendar, envelopes etc etc. If you have a need for them, they are brilliant. But not perhaps for every day handwriting.t's actually quite pleasing that they haven't mucked around with the design - why change a classic?

Our daughter is currently at art college and she absolutely adores these pens. Very comfortable to grip and they draw a nice, bold line that doesn't bleed or feather. The ink dries quickly as well, so there is much less chance of a smear marring her work. Felt tip, so careful examination must be made of the tip before each use to ensure it's not too worn to create the line you wish to create. The felt is high quality though so while it does wear, unlike cheaper pens it doesn't 'smoosh' right away (daughter's words).

The sign pen is a sturdy felt tip like pen. The flow is good and the colour is a true black like a marker. Because of the felt nib, you do get that scraping sound as you write. I'd describe this as having a medium nib. It's comfortable to write with, doesn't leave ink anywhere. It's a nice pen for those who don't want a fine nib or a ballpoint. They all come individually wrapped in plastic so if you were to buy them as stocking filler type gifts, they are perfect.

These felt tip pens are well made and if used with a light touch are fine. I find that because I have a quite heavy hand when writing I wear the tip quite quickly. It could be that someone with a gentle touch could avoid this and find the length of time they can use the pen is extended. What I do like is the bright black ink which makes making notes very clear indeed. The pens are nice to hold.

Really good fun pen.I tend to use very thin pens in my drawings, but having this pen at hand is always good for when I just feel like drawing with much thicker lines.It's very nice to draw with, and can create some quite fun hand writing too.It feels to me that it would make quite nice children's illustrations in particular.

the sign pen is a fantastic medium for sketch design development work- I teach Design and students usually try to pinch these as they get bitten by the bug. I'm a huge fan- as they wear in/out the line quality changes and I keep them until no line is visible- they are part recycled polymer too- the red ones are top for marking!

This pen is seriously bless. I always get the admin. at work to slip a couple in the stationary order which I purloin at the earliest opportunity. Makes my handwriting look sick, just a shame they wear down so quickly (although this is most likely because I press down quite hard when writing).Best pen I've ever used.

seriously if you dont have at least many of these pens in your house you are a silly billy and dont deserve to own ANY pens at all. theyre good for writing and get softer over time and are good for sketching and drawing and all sorts of mark making activitiesalso watercolour?? get them wet use them then

One of my friends had it and once. Used it it was a must get. It's good for bold writing or medium bold outlines for fashion illustrations, art sketching drawings or just writing. Not ideal for everyday pen use good for creative work, it's not deep in thickness like a felt tip. Overall great!

I love these pens, I just wish the tips would stay sharper for longer. Once they lose that edge, I may as well look like a child is writing with a felt-tip pen. However this is only a complaint about the longevity of the wasted ink etc. I still like writing with them.

I love this pen!! Such a great find with a great price! I use it often to draw with, and it works smoothly. Great nib to create thick lines with. Great for cartoonist,artists and illustrators. Great price. Super delivery! I've already got a few more ready to order!
