Gel pens; gunky, smudgy, unreliable messy things aren't they. Aren't they?This pen is much smoother and more pleasant to write with than a biro. The rubber grip is comfortable and doesn't slide up and down the shank. The nib stays gunk free and retracts. BUT the real big surprise was that it dried instantly and would not smudge! I have found that on my pad of lined paper, it is not possible to smudge it at all. I drew a short line and immediately rubbed it - no smudge!To be fair, some types of paper it takes up to 30 seconds to dry before being smudge free, but this is a massive improvement over the gel pens I have used in the past and not much longer than a Bic Biro.

This AWESOME pen arrived a day before the expectance. I have been doodling away with this as soon as I got it out of the package. The pen isn't as turquoise as it looks (if you wanted a turquoise coloured pen), - it is more of a light cyan and blue mixed together. I would definitely be recommending this product to anyone, I have also purchased a pack of 2 blue refills for about £2.99 as well for school. The pen is very easy to write with and extremely comfortable for the user, not to mention the brilliant result.

I am very picky about pens, and when I found this 0.7mm ballpoint I have not searched any further, it's everything I need, bot for drawing and for writing. It's a bit thick though, so you might want to look for the 0.5mm refill as well, but the action is just fantasticm and the ink dries really quick, and the color is deep black, and looks really good. perhaps 1/15 pens are a bit leaky, but I use them for drawings and that looks really good, so it's no issue for me.

Writes smoothly... I only wish the clicker on the top of the pen didn't rattle when writing because i found it quite irritating. I don't use Orange ink for documents but i do like using Orange ink for drawing pumpkins etc on letter heads during the Autumn...Aesthetically pleasing to look at design wise. Pental is usually a reliable brand of pen to use and overall i wasn't disappointed.

This pen will improve your handwriting - it’s the best since the fountain pen but with no blots or messy refills. It’s great value for money and it also helps charity. It’s comfortable and chunky to hold with a rubber body so it’s non-slip. All in all, a really excellent pen for a very reasonable price. Try one and you’re sure to be converted to the Pentel Gel Pen.

I knew it was a fine product which is why i ordered it. But I thought I was getting a packet and not a single pen. It was much too expensive as a single item. However I was delighted and surprised to receive a refund not only from Amazon but also from Japan together with an invitation to keep the pen.k

This is a very good pen, I can't really complain about the pen itself; just that the price was marginally high with regards to the packaging it arrived in (i.e. an envelope). I cannot complain about the quality of the pen, and the 'green' is a very pleasant green (i.e. it doesn't look like bile).

I am required to write in black ink at work, and bought one of these pens some time ago in a local store. It writes smoothly and without blotting - a good, even line. The push-button top is great - no caps to remove. I shall be purchasing more once my present supply has run out.

I got this pen as I saw my friend using one. Really good quality as for the gen pen. I was always a bit sceptic to use this kind of pens but this one doesn't leave nasty marks on paper or my hands and is really great to write with. Pleased with my purchase.

I have used these pens for a long time now, and every time some one uses it they don't want to give it back, so... I have bought one for all my friends, they are lovely writers, they just flow, they even make my handwriting look nice

I own one of these pens and I have to say it writes fantastic,whats more you can buy a refill as well.If you want a great pen at reasonable cost it's worth trying one of these pens.Will probably buy another in the near future.

Love these pens! Smooth to write with and I use them all the time. Feel lost if I can't find one when I need to write a list or cards. Have a stock of refills as they do run out quite quickly - or am I just using them a lot?

These are always a good purchase as they have a comfortable grip and they 'write' well. I first saw them in Clinton's the card shop. The refills are Pentel ENERGEL LR7-A, Black 0.7mm Ball Metal Tip. Box of 12.

I have used these pens for a few years, I keep trying other gel pens but I keep coming back to these. They are well worth the money as they last quite a long time. The supplier delivered well within the time.

I love this pen! One of the best I have! The only thing I would say is that it seems to run out a little to quickly for my liking, although I have been using this pen solidly at school for three weeks!
