This is a great little pen that comes with blue ink, which is more pleasing on my eyes (black ink on white paper can sometimes seem jarring on my eyesight). It’s lightweight (15g / 0.5oz) but doesn’t feel so flimsy but most importantly it’s comfortable to hold, has a decent grip and writes well.Although it’s got ‘premium’ in the name, you wouldn’t confuse it with a premium branded pen, e.g. there’s none of the silent or muted clicking, this pen is boldly a pretty loud clicker but I also think that’s part of what makes it distinctively a Parker Jotter pen.The 2nd picture (on expanded view) is a little misleading, the pinstriping looks like deep grooves, they’re not. They are more like the range of depth of scratches on car paintwork; deepest towards the centre of the barrel you can catch your fingernail on them as you turn the pen but the closer to the nib you get the shallower they become until, as you turn the pen, your fingernail runs over them as opposed to catching on them. The detailing is so subtle that in certain lighting conditions you wouldn’t even know they are there. It’s also not so clear from the photos that the basic colours of the nib and clip sections are slightly different colours; the nib section with the pinstriping being like a shiny mild steel colour whereas the clip section has a slightly darker nickel plated colour and more deeply lacquered feel. I think I would prefer it id the whole pen was made of the same tone and feel of material as the clip section but that’s just a very minor point as it’s still a lovely pen for its price. For a younger person the pen and packing would make for a nice gift but for someone with a few more years under their belt I wouldn’t expect you’d get the same level of appreciation.

This is the second Parker Pen I have, I also have the Stainless Steel one which I use at work and looks fantastic and feels great to write with, this one came with Black ink however the Pinstipe version I have received comes with Blue ink which I am not so much a fan of however this is personal preference only and it can be changed. While I love the feel of the Medium Nib Parker brand I am not so much a fan of the PinStipe design (again personal preference). While the pin strips end halfway up the pen I would prefer them to go all the way up the pen and not half and half. The Oxford Grey top half looks good though.Anyone who wants a comfortable well made pen shouldn't look further than the Parker brand and if you are a fan of the pinstriped half than you wont go wrong with this.As above it feels great to write with, its very well made and refills are easy to find and replace. The Pen also comes in a lovely gift box for those purchasing as a gift

This is a classic Parker pen design that hasn't changed that much over the years for a good reason. It looks good and feels good to write with. This version is in a gunmetal grey with the pen stripes on the bottom part of the barrel, which are quite subtle and look good. The pen is made of metal throughout and although it is surprisingly light. The click mechanism to reveal and retract the ball point pen works well and feels robust. It feels slim in the hand and looks good too. It's supplied with a medium blue refill installed although you could change this for a different colour or width if you wanted to as Parker refills are widely available. The pen arrived in a cardboard gift box which is nice although not as classy as some of Parker's sturdier gift boxes. It's definitely better than a blister pack though if this is a present for someone.

Having recently reviewed the basic Parker Jotter ball point pen, I had something to compare this Premium Oxford model to.This pen is a joy to both look at and more importantly, write with. It arrives in a subtle, understated grey gift box, along with the product documentation and guarantee. It is considerably lighter in weight than the basic jotter and feels beautifully smooth when writing with it. The barrel is very nicely machined and dependant on light can appear to be silver or even moving towards a grey gun metal. There are very subtle pin stripes along the length of the barrel too.I'm posting some close up photos which will hopefully convey the finer details in the design of this pen. So,a pen I'd be happy to give as a gift; and a pen that I would cherish receiving as a gift. A winner all round. Highly recommended.

I normally use fountain pens but like to keep a couple of ballpoints handy for non-fountain pen activities, such as writing things that need to be truly permanent or writing on rubbish paper. Parker Jotters, of which I own a couple, are hardy, versatile, and generally much nicer to hold in the hand than your average Bic Cristal ballpoint. I'm not going to go so far as to suggest that they write any better, but when you're shelling out £15+ on a ballpoint pen, you're obviously buying it for some reason other than the writing process. In this case, it's the design - it's really, really nice to hold and admire!

This is a really nice pen.It is quite thin and it is lightweight. It sits quite comfortably in the hand and because it's not too heavy I can do a fair amount of writing with it without feeling uncomfortable. The colour is a little unusual. I was expecting a grey colour but there is a definite greenish colour to it.mit isn't unpleasant. It has a gentle stripe running through it.It comes with blue ink. Most official documents require black so I find it a little strange it arrives in blue. I will be buying a black refill for it.It comes in a smart box.Would recommend.

I believe the different finishes will all end up clumped together, so this is for the Oxford Grey Pinstripe. To my eyes, it has a slight green tinge to it, and I'll be honest, I'm not keen.. but then the finish will be a personal choice. It comes in a nice gift box, so is ideal for a present. It's fairly thin, and lightweight.. probably ideal for blazer pockets! As with all Parker products, it writes smoothly, with no leaking or blobbing. It comes with blue ink, but black refills are quite easy to find.

This is a very smart pen. I love the colour which is a sort of gunmetal with a very fine stripe.I always use Parker jotter pens as I hate to have to take the top off to use a pen and retracting the point prevents ink getting over everything. It would make a very good present as it does look more expensive than the regular silver and colour jotter pen.It comes with a blue medium refill. It has now replaced my other jotter pen with my Filofax (Yes I am afraid I am old school!).

This is a really nice Parker pen. This brand has never let me down and I own many different types of pen made by Parker. This one is a click top ballpoint with blue ink. It is very comfortable to hold and writes beautifully. It comes in a little box and so would make a great gift for someone. The colour of the pen itself is really unusual - ut is silvery grey with very thin pin stripes on the lower barrel - I really like it. Great pen

The Parker Jotter has been around many decades now. In this latest incarnation it is as smooth and well-made as ever - it writes beautifully and just feels right in the hand. Having said that, this jotter is a few cm shorter than a jotter I bought a couple of years ago and some might consider it a bit too small. The grey finish is very smart looking. A nice gift - perhaps more so for a lady given the small size of the pen.

Everything you would expect from a parker pen, top quality, comfortable and stylish. I havnt help a parker pen since 2007 and thought this pen was slightly small, but I guess that's just me as no one else has had this issue. Ink refills are sold pretty much everywhere so it's a guaranteed long term item. The click is on par with the brand, if you know what it sounds like then I dont need to explain it.

Very nice Parker pen. Comes in nice presentation box. Suitable for a gift. The pen is comfortable in the hand and writes well. Made of stainless steel and very light in the hand. You won't feel the weight in a pocket. Comes with blue ink and I prefer black, which does mean I have to buy another refill straight away. Apart from that it's an attractve looking ball point pen.

It's been many years since I bought a new pen so I did a lot of research before buying. Settled on this particular pen for average price and quality. When received couldn't be more happy very cool looks and excellent writer would certainly recommend. Many people have commented on how smart the design is. Thank you Parker pens well done on a great pen.

It's a Parker pen. They dominate the 'slightly nicer than a biro market'. It works well and feels good to hold. I've been using it daily over the last few months and the included ink hasn't run out yet. I'm left handed and I'm able to write cursive quickly without any smudging.
