I like many reviewers used to use parker pens at school (15 years ago) and I always felt posh having them whilst everyone else had cheap plastic ones. When I saw this set of 4 for £13.47 I couldn't resist buying some. Many people say they have shrunk since they were at school and that may be the case but I found an old Jotter pen I had 15 years ago and placed them side by side with the new ones and they are exactly the same thickness and length. I weighed both pens and they are both 11g so claims they are using cheaper materials are not true. the bottom part of the pen has always been plastic in the 20 years I've used them but they did and still do produce full metal versions.

... And at that price I consider them good buy. They are comfy to hold and they write well, not had the ink problems that some report.However, as others notice, the quality has gone down hill massively, the metal and plastic are so thin compared to older versions. Seriously, pens like this were ready ridiculously cheap to produce in the first place and they have spoilt the effect of owning a quality pen to save a couple of pence by cutting back on the amount of materials used.If you want a nice pen to write with, this pen is fine but if you want a pen that feels just a little bit special, look elsewhere.If the pens were of the quality I was expecting,

Having so many Parker pens in my life (77 now) I find these were once made in England, UK, USA and now France surely it would be just as cheap (less transport overseas cost) to make them in the country of supply.I do find the refills just as expensive and when the pens are on offer you might as well pay a little more to get the whole package (at least you will find a pen in every corner of your home/office without spending most of your time looking for one when the phone rings and nearly everyone says "Just a moment I will find something to write with"You will always need a parker around.

This is a review for the Parker Jotter Originals Ballpoint Pen Collection. I always use Parker pens, and as a truck driver people often comment on what a ‘posh pen’ I have, but I find that customers are much more likely to give a decent pen back to me, rather than ‘accidentally’ putting into their own pocket. What I love about this set is the great colours that they come in. A modern version of an old classic. My lovely wife quickly bagged the pink one for herself, but I’ve managed to hang onto the other three, so far. Recommended.

I have purchased 3 lots of different parker jotter pens for my daughters friends who are all turning 16 (2020-2021). Having a parker pen to make them feel extra special and to use throughout life knowing they had a friendship as such to cherish. I bought them before the price jumped up thankfully making it more worthwhile.All they need is the refills.I bought the 4 pack bold colours, this 3 pack pastel and a duo pack pastel.Only wish they'd come individually packed and with a gift box.

I've used a Parker jotter most of my life. All through school, uni and at work. I still have my original pen but fancied some brights for my home office to cheer me up as I still write a lot. The colours are as vibrant as the pictures, they are light to hold but not too light for me. I have small hands so they're the perfect size. I love having them on my desk and using them. Classics.

Ordered as a Christmas gift, the colours were what attracted me to these pens, bright and fun looking but quality too. They look really good but are much lighter weight than I remember Parker pens being. As for value for money, well they run out of ink really quickly and I know I can buy refills I just didn’t expect to have to buy them after a couple of weeks of light use !!

A really good deal on a set of Parker pens. Love the new colours. The only minor criticism is with all Parker pens these days; they casings are much lighter than they used to be and this makes them more difficult to write with for those of us who have been using Parker's for many years. we are used to them having a bit more weight. For the money though, these are excellent.

PARKER pens are always worth paying a little bit more for. As you are paying for quality and for something that wont stop working after a few days or fall apart like some cheaper brands do. Came in four vibrant colous in its own nice card parker box. Competitively priced for a recognised quality brand. Also ordered black and navy refills for them aswell at a good price.

This is my third time in purchasing this set. Previously bought this set as a gift for someone, and loved these beautiful pastel colours so much that I needed them in my stationery collection (yes, I have an unhealthy obsession with stationery) Classic Parker jotted pen, just in really pretty colours. Would definitely recommend!

I confess that I love Parker biros. When I saw this four-pack in bright colours I just thought they would be fun to write with instead of constantly using cheap biros that fall apart or don't write. I find it easier to write with a robust good quality pen in any case and the colours of the pen barrels are lovely.

I love this pen. Read some reviews saying their quality was poor compared with normal Parker pens but I got them for work where I am likely to lose them so thought the pack of four was worth a punt. I actually think they write very nicely and feel like nice pens. Very pleased and would buy again.

Retro jotter pens - bit of fun, love the colours and decent pens to write with. Should mention that pens are light weight: metal elements feel a little ‘thin’ compared with previous models I’ve had but in keeping with the price point. Good value for deal price paid (£14 for four pens).

Just bought a second set as gifts especially at £13 for 4 - Colours are vibrant and they write as well as they did when I last bought parkers or had them as a child. I have 3 around the house! Blue, pink and green. Ignore the moaners, things change so we should too!
