The Nineties was definitely one of my favourite decades overall, (my bedroom is still Sun, Moon and Stars in blue and gold). I looked forward to getting this Nineties inspired pen, but it's not quite the shade of green I expected.It didn't really say 'Nineties' to me. in the same way as sage green currently says 'Twenty-Tens'.That aside, it's a smashing little pen, writes like a dream, and someone who loves pens in odd shades, particularly virulent green, is going to love it.Writes perfectly, out of the box, a medium thickness nib refill with blue ink , which you can of course change, if your preference is for fine, black, as mine is. Nicely boxed for gift-giving.

As a child of the '90s, I was very pleased to receive this retro '90s Parker ballpoint. Every summer I had the treat of going to WHSmith to choose my Parker for the next academic year.This pen is a pleasing, bold shade of green.I wrote all our Christmas cards with it, together with a keepsake book for my mum for Christmas. It writes smoothly and without smudging or blobs of ink appearing. There was no transfer from page to page or between the cards, when used.The only thing that I found disappointing was the underwhelming carboard box - I would have much preferred the trademark retro plastic box.

Nice pen. If you are my age chances are this is what you think when you think ballpoint pen. Solid and reassuring click button. The instantly recognisable arrow clip.I like the green colour of mine although I am at a loss as to how this evokes the 1990s. Parker pens have been around for a long time and everybody knows what they are like, so I suppose they must struggle to come up with new marketing angles.Its a good reliable pen at a good price - much classier than a disposable but won't break the bank.Comes in a nice box so an excellent gift choice.

i Have to admit I was quite excited to receive this. As a teenager I seemed to get one of those most birthdays or at Christmas. This one has an interesting lower colour - almost an emerald green. I don’t remember see that colour before. Mine tended to be burgundy or blue or simply all silver. I love these pens though. Maybe it’s nostalgia but there’s nothing better than having a Parker in your shirt pocket. The only difference now is that it’s at work rather than school! This has blue ink and the tip is just perfect. Really happy.

Not had a Parker pen for quite a time now and using this one reminds me of when I used to write with one almost all of the time. This one being such a bright colour isn’t the most easiest of pens to loose in your bag which always helps. It writes smoothly after the first few times of getting it to flow. Lightweight and slim which I find comfortable to use and know that refills can be sourced when the ink runs out. Comes in a Parker box and makes a good gift even if just for yourself. Pricewise I think about right.

I have no idea what the retro reference means - this is a standard Parker Jotter ball pen in a somewhat vibrant colour which attracts a premium over the price of the basic Jotter. It does feel very light and the barrel is slim which I don't like but others will approve. It writes well with smooth flow of ink. As a jotter it is fine but I wouldn't want to use it for any great length of time as the slim barrel would cause cramping in my fingers,

Parker Jotter Originals Ballpoint Pen, '90s Retro Green Finish, Medium Point, Blue Ink, 1 Count is another great pen from Parker and though this pen has been on the market for a long time, what makes this different is the Retro Finish which I personally do like. I love the unique colour and once again from Parker it is a pen which glides across the paper.A great writing pen which has a great look and design.Happy to recommend.

I am sure most people know the classic Parker ballpoint. It still writes like a dream.It's robust, has a firm clip making it easy to attach to insider pockets or shirt fronts/ties.The green on this is a touch more lurid than I would have liked, but is bearable. It's very much traffic light green.

The green is a brighter, more yellowy green than the photo implies, by crayons colours I would call it a bright or lime green. Saying that, it is a classic 90s colour and the pen writes beautifully. It is not weighted as the body is made of plastic, but I was looking for a light pen.

I absolutely love my pen. This beats any Biro I have in the house. I’ve used mine every day for months. The ink is still there and not running out! I wasn’t keen on the green. But I think the pen is perfect! Great value for money as well!

Quite expensive for a biro but it is well made and robust and you are paying for the Parker brand.Also nicely presented in a branded box.Handles well and ink flows consistently and smoothly with an even tone.

It’s obviously more expensive than a biro, but it’s so much nicer to pull this out of your bag to write with than a standard disposable biro. It writes nicely, it’s refillable, it looks good, what’s not to like?

Slightly addicted to these retro coloured pens, not least because I can see them under the mass of paper that accumulates on my desk. They write smoothly, grip not necessarily the best but you get used to it.

I like writing with this because it is the opposite of chunky. It's nice and thin.I love the colour and the way it feels in the hand.The ink flows smoothly.The pen is great for quickly scribbling notes.

A classic and reliable pen. Can’t go wrong and won’t get lost in my bag! I have the retro green, super vibrant. Love this style as I don’t like big bulky pens. Very light weight and smooth to write with.
