I got fed up with the cheap biros at work randomly dropping big blobs of ink which then got smeared across the page, and decided to switch to another brand of pen. After trying a few different ones I settled on these, the Paper Mate "Flexgrip Ultra", medium tip. I have been using the black, blue and red for over a year now and they write smoothly and haven't deposited a single unwanted blob of ink. The ridged, rubberised grip is comfy and secure and the diameter is easy to hold when writing (I don't get on with trendy fat pens). I'm very happy with my writing tools now.I have just acquired some of the rare green ones and, although it's too early to know for sure,

These pens are excellent value from this seller, especially when buying as a bulk purchase. I use them all the time at work, and I get through alot of pens as a hospital doctor. These write very smoothly and accurately, with a minimal amount of blotching for a rollerball, and thet feel comfortable in the hand. The pocket clip is also fairly robust for plastic, and I haven't had any snap. I usually find each one lasts a few weeks of near continuous writing in patient notes (so long as they don't get mislaid or lent out), which for the variety of disposable pen makes I have tried is well above average.

What can I say? A pen is a pen is a pen! They appear to be in proper order, were well-packed, and arrived within the time-scal expected. Readers of my reviews will probably know by now that I wouldn't pull any punches if a product purchased didn't live up to ecpectation in any way. With a fully-stocked pen-stand on my desk, I'd better start practising my hand-writing again! One tends to get lazy with a computer keyboard as a "pen"!!

These packs of 12 pens are an excellent product at a very good price. They arrived quickly. Top marks!I was particularly pleased because I had previously made the mistake of ordering (through Amazon) the same pen from another company. This other company charged me over £7 for a single pen! Unbelievable. I returned this (there was no problem on refund) and ordered from this excellent company instead.

I know this is just a pen but I'll be really depressed if Paper Mate ever stop making this version. I use them for work all the time because they have (for me) exactly the right diameter and weight and the ridged bit near the tip means that they are easy to hold & don't slip.As I use a keyboard for 96% of my writing I appreciate a pen that I can just use without thinking.It's the little things...

These are simply the best pens I have ever owned. I first "found" them while working for a Government agency and could not believe my luck when I saw them on Amazon. A £1 per pen might seem pricey to some these days, but these fine pointed beauties leave no smears and yet a very clear print, with a great grip. Perfect for left handers like myself. Will be buying another box soon to keep handy.

This pen is the king of ball pens. Easy to write with and doesn't smudge. The retractable part also works well.I simply won't buy any other for my use (I do buy cheaper ones when I have to use them at 'events').The only fault with this pen is that it also has legs - and they seem to walk away on their own! So I cannot tell you if they work to the last drop of ink - but I would bet they do.

I love using these pens at work. They have a comfortable grip and pleasant to write with. One of the pens in the box (i've tried about 5 so far) does not work properly. It seems that the pen ran out of in but the it starts writing again. It might be just a one off. Very happy with the pens otherwise and great value for money - much cheaper than in height street shops.

What a handy pen. In my line of work I am constantly using my pen throughout the day and is in and out of my pocket. As such a pen with a lid just wouldn't work for me (lid would be lost min minutes!).I find that it is also able to write on other materials not just on paper, which is great for me at work too!!

I bought 3 of these in a pack from WH Smith for my daughter when she started secondary school in 2010, they lasted almost a year and she loves the ease of using them. To be able to buy so many as a bulk buy was even better - they never go faulty or leak and produce a quality inkA great buy - well worth it

It's only a pen! I dont think there is a pen on the market that comes close to this type of pen. It is so smooth to write with, comfortable to hold & seems to last for ages. To get 12 of these pens for less than £1 each is superb value for money, I hope that papermate never stops making them.

My eldest son asked me to get him these pens as he had borrowed one at school and liked it much better than the usual "BIC" type. I agree! They are much more comfortable and soft to grip, smooth writing and seem to last OK. Generally a good quality and no messing around losing caps.

A bit pricey compared to others, but to be fair they are great pens!I have read negative comments about the individual sticker on each pen, admittedly it's a bit silly however it took me 10 seconds to remove them all and they didnt leave any glue or mark.I'd buy them again.

Just what I ordered got these pens for friends and the people that live around me,They all have different forms of problems so it's very difficult to get pens which they can hold and right with these met the job really well and of course i needed a lot very pleased all of us

A good quality pen that writes smoothly. I am a teacher and bought these to do my marking. I would like to say that it makes marking a pleasure but it would take more than a nice pen to do that. However, it does write smoothly. I have not seen these red ones in the shops.
