This is a really good trainer cup for babies of 6 months and over. Great design, easy to clean, it has a screw-top and a wide neck so that you can get a washing-up brush inside easily. The lid is made from sturdy plastic and the handles are attached to the lid - unusual handles, it looks a bit like a spaceship, and they are easy for a toddler to grasp. The handles and the sucking mouthpiece are flexible. The really clever part is that inside the lid is a double stopper which prevents leaks when you take the feeding cup out with you. It's easy to put on and remove and the only downside is that it's not actually attached to the cup so you would need to be careful not to lose it. It's dishwasher safe. The base of the cup isn't too wide to fit into those cup-holders on a high-chair tray. There's an air hole in the lid so that air can come in when the child sucks the liquid out. So, as long as you remember to take the plastic piece out before giving it to the child to drink from, everything should be fine! Reasonable price for something which should last a nice long time.

Nuk have a series of different cups aimed at differing age groups. This 6+ month option is probably the closest to a classic feeling sippy cup that they do. This being Nuk their 'Trainer Cup Sippy Cup' is a little more than the norm. Size wise it is a little bigger than really needed as it contains more liquid than anyone but the most thirty baby could finish off. The handles are more prominent than other designs I have tried and as they are not attached at the bottom they are actually easier for a child to get a decent grip.Inside there is a little valve that makes sure the liquid is only released when suction is applied. This is a nice touch, but it does mean there is an extra little piece to clean each time and you have to remember to replace it correctly or all of a sudden the cup is no longer spill proof. The Nuk 'Trainer Cup' is made from high quality plastics and will last being battered. It is perhaps a touch over engineered for what it needs to be, but if you want a sippy cup you can fill and not spill for a full day out, then this is a very good option.

Finding it nigh on impossible to clean under the flip spout of our grandson's previous "sippy cup", and having been utterly shocked by the dirt we found that had collected there, we've been on the search for a more hygienic alternative - a baby cup we can actually keep clean. We've found one. This cup is excellent. Unlike similar looking cups - and we've tried a couple of other top makes - this one even allows the non-drip silicone valve to be removed completely so that the baby does not have to suck so very hard to get a drink, allowing the drink to flow freely, but slowly enough not to cause choking. The other unusually good aspect of this NUK design is that the spout isn't made from ultra-soft silicone which means it doesn't get chewed shut by the baby, which all others we've tried do, making it even harder for him to suck liquid out. Top marks NUK!All-in-all, we like this cup - and remain surprised at how hard it's been to find a suitable alternative to the flip-style cups.

I can recall the old days of bottle feeding. This has been far better thought out.Firstly ... not a huge bottle. Eventually every baby drops the bottle and they get smacked in the face and then it's all tears and crying. So not having a huge bottle is helpful.Secondly to prevent the dropping of the bottle ... the baby now has some nice handles to securely grab a hold of. So less likely to slip and drop it in the first place. So a couple of well thought out points.HOWEVER... down side. With the nice easy to grip handles the bottle doesn't sit in the bottle warmer anymore ... so when it's 3 am in the morning and you're fumbling around trying to get a warm bottle of mild to hand ... it won't be this sadly.Maybe they need to build a bottle warmer with space for the handles or find some other solutions.

This sippy cup is suitable from 6 months old. My 10-month-old baby has started using this. It is a non-drip cup so saves a lot of mess and wet tops. It requires a sucking action for the drink to come out, this was a new experience for my baby so he had to try it a few times before realising how the water would come out.The cup is neutral in colour, easy to clean and can be placed in a dishwasher. There are side handles to make it even easier for him to drink. My son also enjoys biting down on the soft spout with his gums (soothing for teething?)Be sure to note there is a silicone insert in the lid that has to be in place for the cup to work. Definitely one of my favourite baby cups, and I’ve been through LOTS with four kids!

My 9 month old boy has tried a couple of different cups now and has taken to this one with ease.He likes the fact it is clear so it provides a bit of entertainment shaking it around, the leak proof design ensures this doesn’t result in a mess. The handles either side are easy for him to grip and he drinks from the soft rubbery spout with ease at a steady flow. When it comes to filling the lid screws off with ease but goes back on tight enough so little fingers can’t open it.It does say its dish washer safe but I always prefer to hand wash or put in the steamer with his milk bottles.I’ve been happy with this cup and I’m sure it will last well for as long as we need it.

My baby granddaughter has just started drinking from a cup and loves this feeder cup. She is just 6 months old and very keen to do things for herself. The cup is well made and has two handles which are an excellent shape for babies to grip. The feeder spout is soft silicone so it is gentle on gums - especially good for babies who are teething - and has three small holes in it to suck on the drink. This avoids baby getting too much liquid at once and choking on it, or spilling it whilst drinking. It has an air vent in the top, to maintain the flow of liquid whilst baby is drinking. Dishwasher safe. Brilliant trainer cup.

Love this little cup. The body is transparent and has little teddy faces on it. The top, spout and handles are beige. The top screws off. The spout is soft rubbery like material and the handles are easy for little hands to grip. It is very easy for you toddlers to manage .I held it upside down and shook it about and there was no leaks. It can go in the dishwasher but I really prefer to wash by handle. It is very easy to clean. My great granddaughter manages it well but she is almost 18 months old. I do think younger children would manage equally well

NUK products are brilliant and this is no exception. The innovation is one of the main reasons we love them so much and with this set you get a cup with it’s very different styled kid and handle. It’s a 230ml cup that’s easy to hold, especially with the really cool handles that look a bit strange but work really well giving a safe comfortable grip. It’s easy to clean (dishwasher safe) and the material is strong enough that it lasts without being chewed away. The design on the side is lovely with the bear characters. Recommended.

My children graduated from bottles to trainer feeder cups just like this. Usually 'Tommy Tippee' brand. This isn't Tommy Tippy, rather it's a 'Sippy' ! From NUK. A nice easy to hold mug, with a sipping spout that babies and toddlers from six months upwards can use.Leak proof and dishwasher safe, this ergonomically designed mug with charming animal motifs offers excellent value for money for parents or those friends and family who just want offer a small gift. A really nice baby product.

NUK Trainer Cup Sippy Cup, Soft Drinking Spout, Leak-Proof, 6+ Months, BPA-Free, 230ml, Bear (Transparent) is a good quality trainer cup for babies of 6 months and above age group. The spout is softer than the more traditional sippy cup which I personally consider to be more comfortable for babies especially with new teeth coming up.I love the cute design on the clear cup and our little one loves pointing out each picture on it.A good quality sippy cup which I am happy to recommend.

we are really becoming a fan of this brand as it really does offer value for money and simplicity of design. these are soft to drink from and easy to grasp so encouraging drinking alone without need for mum. they come apart with ease for washing and sterilising if required no matter which way i tip or throw i can honestly say no leaks for me which lets be honest is a godsend for any parent who has played the throw it off the highchair game.highly recommended by us and by little one.

Used this for the first time today and I'm really impressed. my 11 mounth old really stugled with other cups, the lids would come off Easley, to much drink would come out, struggling to hold them. This cup however is perfect the drink comes out well, screw on lid, easy to clean, handles for him to hold, the drink will only come out when he drinks so if he's shaking his cup around there's no spills. Im very pleased and I will be ordering more and recommending to everyone

This is a well made starter cup, with what appears to be little bear illustrations on it. The cup has a non spill valve on the inside and has good sized handles for baby to hold onto. The valve it removable, so you can clean the cup thoroughly between uses. My one gripe is that I think it is a little expensive for one cup and I think it should have been around £5 or less.

This is an attractive and functional cup. I did have concerns about the pointed ends on the handles but the rubber is fairly soft. It is quite small so would only be useful in the first few months of “training” and you need to remember to replace the valve after cleaning or spillage will likely occur. Otherwise a good if rather expensive product.
